@xLauraa. Ah, I'm glad things are moving along your end and I hope your DH gets a good result - does it have any side effects?

I'm between 9 and 10 weeks now, well fingers crossed anyway. I have a scan at the epu tomorrow morning so I'm quite anxious about that as it's around the time that I found out that things had gone wrong last time

Sorry for the mega late reply! Been so busy...

They didn't say about any side effects. He's been taking it for 8 weeks or so now. The consultant was adamant I wouldn't get pregnant in these first 3 months but I had some light spotting last night, really unusual for me. Lasted about 5 minutes and I've had nothing since. I'd be around 9-11 dpo - chances are very low no doubt but I suppose it isn't impossible now DP has been on his meds a while!

How did the scan go? Hope everything is ol your end xox

@xLauraa. Hey :-) Fingers crossed that it's making a difference! My scan went ok thanks. I'm 13 weeks 5 days today. I'm having another scan at 16 weeks so fingers crossed for that x

I ovulated last month!
Randomly as apparently haven’t ovulated for at least two years, is this a sign or can it be random like that?

My hospital won’t prescribe anything until bmi is 29 or below - I’m currently at 35
She said that was the nice guidelines so am assuming it’s the same evrywhere

@HollyWollyDooDah - congrats on ovulating last month! I find it crazy how excited I get over a period now when I used to dread them.
I'm starting ovulation induction via injections tonight - feeling excited but nervous about side effects! How are things going for you? X

Well I had my appointment at the hospital. and it was nowhere near as bad as i feared. The doctor was so so lovely compared to the last time I went through this.

I need a BMI of 35 or under before they can help me, which I was expecting- good to have a goal. Feeling more motivated to lose weight as I was expecting them to tell me it was all hopeless.

@LookingAtTheStars89 hello lovely, so so for me! Thought I was last cycle but I wasn't 😔 was due on yesterday as I'd started being a regular 28 days but no sign yet! Fingers crossed but not getting my hopes up coz I doubt I am!

@xLauraa. Fingers crossed for you! x I'm 19 weeks and 17lbs down! Pregnancy cures pcos! Lol well at least seems to put some of the symptoms on hold. I've been really poorly lately, I'm being tested and treated whilst waiting for a lung clot!! x

I have PCOS and conceived naturally 16 years ago! I have no periods from 1-4 years in between, I lost weight this year and came on in June wooo! But nothing since, So took provera and I’m on cd3 and started clomid 50mg yesterday. Fingers crossed for ovulation.

Does anyone have any advice about how to hold it together when friends get pregnant and talk about how they ‘weren’t even trying’. I can’t cope with it. We saw our friends this evening who told us the news that they were having a baby. Obviously I’m happy and excited for them but also so deeply, deeply jealous and sad. I’ve been on metformin for a few months as part of my ovulation induction treatment and have lost a bit of weight as a result. After they announced their news our friends kept saying seriously what’s your secret, how have you got so skinny. I just wanted to run away and cry. Sorry for such a depressing rant
