Hey User.. maybe it’s because of Chlorine in the water which probably not great for just transferred embryo. Or maybe risk of infection. But that’s only in 2 ww

Aliona no worries im sure i forgot some people too in my last post . im not doing to bad still having discomfort in my stomach and some cramps on and off it must be the prostegene .

Camay nothing wrong in some indulgence after all those weeks of injections scans and stress (as long nothing unsafe which im sure you wouldnt eat !)

I think you are right user as i remember from ttc days dpo was days past ovulation which was counted the day after ( though no one could be 100% on day it occured) so i i would imagine dpt days past transfer would be counted the same. Could be wrong.

I will be honest I do remember reading somewhere about avoiding baths though dont remember swimming , either after collection or transfer so have avoided it until i can find out for sure, dying for a nice soak! Maybe something to do with pressure of the water?

Thanks Aliona and user i have been cautious defiantly will avoid baths then. I have been avoiding dr google completly as will start to read about one thing and get onto another completely different thing. Lol

The lack of hot baths was the worst thing about IVF for me! Far worse than injections and procedures !

@Starlumiere lovely to hear from you. Holiday sounds good. A longer break seems like a really good idea - it takes a lot out of you, when it doesn't work (as I am learning). I'd love a longer break but at my age I think I'd better crack on. We shall see

Morning! Wow loads of chat! user if you enjoy swimming and haven’t been told notbthen then you are fine! And Hopefully your embryos will be all snuggled in by now so it shouldn’t make a difference!

I hope the snow isn’t creating too many problems, it’s keeping me indoors yesterday & today, I’m trying to convince the dogs they don’t need as much walking but unfortunately they don’t agree!! It’s hella windy!

Never been allowed to TTC due to cancer treatment since 2011
Two dogs, one cockapoo, one pointer puppy arrived during IVF transfer last year in October
Low AMH due to cancer treatment
One round of IVF for egg collection/embryo making for freezing for surrogacy, got 2 last Easter
Transferred 1 embryo to my best friend in Nov as a surrogate, 🤗 currently 19 weeks pregnant with baby boy ❤️ Due 26th July!!
Waiting to start stims for round 2 IVF to try & get any more embryos to put in freezer as last chance of doing so, AF not playing ball!

So about me:

Live in Essex and work in London
Age 35 but turn 36 next weekend
Been with husband for 5 years
Have a ginger cat called Crunchie
Start ivf in August 2016 - primary reason is OH has low morphology - less than 1%. However my AMH is also low. Told we have 5% chance of conceiving naturally
First cycle - 6 eggs collected - BFP but mmc at 11 weeks. 2 frozen
2nd cycle - 2 Frozen transferred - BFN
3rd cycle 5 eggs collected - 1 transferred none frozen
4th cycle - 3 eggs - 2 transferred last fri. On 2ww. Last chance saloon for us

So this is me.
29 from Liverpool, also work in Liverpool.
TTC for two years but both my Fallopian tubes are blocked with doctors unable to find a reason why 🤷🏼‍♀️. Everything else is fine, “very fertile” apparently and partner is fine too.
No children, no pets 😂
I’ve just sold my house as well as starting my first injections yesterday (I must be mad)

My vital stats:

37 from North Scotland
TTC for 4 years.
MC a year ago
No pets, DS who is 4.
Both pregnancies were natural but both after a long time trying and just about to start IVF.
DH has low sperm count.
EC a week ago, ET on Wednesday. Single embryo transfer and 4 frozen embryos. Testing a week tomorrow. Fingers crossed.

Tummy still feels very weird after EC - not painful, but just like it's been through v he mill and there's a lot of stuff going on..... Hopefully there is

I think my meds are making me not feel well - weirdly when I eat I get a headache almost straight away. Also if I stand up too quick then I get quite dizzy for a long time. Am assuming it's the fragmin I am injecting which is thinning the blood. Struggling a little bit x
