Clomid anyone else?

I'm on 2nd cycle of clomid (50mg CD2-6) and am on CD7 now - anyone else out there the same?!

7 days now of high temps it's being stubborn and not coming down? I'm not holding up much hope this cycle I've usually ovulated by now? So can only think I have, and missed it?

Thanks! What days did you take the clomid again Footy? You can't have ovulated on day 4 surely?! It might just be taking a while for your temperature to lower? Do you have any other progesterone symptoms?

I took clomid on days 3-7 this cycle for a change but on day 3 before I took them I felt some cramps which were quite bad by cd4, day 5 nothing! Had a bit of EWCM but not s lot. Yes I've had bad headaches last 2 days, and few dizzy spells today but nothing more.
Double checked my temp half hour later to check the thermometer hasn't gone mad and it was only 0.1 less. I def feel like I'm in the progesterone stage.

When I took the prog pills (Notethisterone) to induce AF my temps shot up from 36.30's to 36.65/36.70 but these are now higher than that. Comparing to 6 months of charts (4 on clomid) I've never had high temps like these.

I usually would have ovulated by now cd10, and get cramps few days before. If temps not come down in another 4 days then I can probably assume I ovulated?

Oh that's really strange if you have ovulated so early. Do they not say that's too early to have a good quality egg? Might be worth a trip back to the doctors to see if you can get properly monitored whilst in clomid just in case?

My gp not monitoring me either, the gynaecologist said before ovulating early isn't great, but not necessary an issue because I hadn't been having periods or ovulating. So I think because I didn't ovulate last cycle bringing on the period with the progesterone pills I may have already had an egg developing and popped out straight after the period. But when I google it- it says quality wouldn't be good. So don't know. :(

Oh that's so stressful isn't it. I am really shocked that you're not being monitored, I thought it was an essential. What if you popped out loads of eggs?

I had a scan this morning and have two dominant follicles that are developing normally at the minute. I'm back on Wednesday for another scan and will keep going back until they pop. So just doing to keep BD every other day!

Malbec Only had bloods done during first cycle & scan before clomid and to show ovulation from the bloods and that was it. Feel like I've wasted the cycle now. It's free on Nhs for me and maybe cos I already have 2boys and aged 39 it's not something they offer with scans etc... I can't afford to go private.
I have twins in my family so I don't mind twins but not sure about multiple multiples!! Lol
Not feeling great today, but of a dodgy tummy and few cramps. Temp still high at 36.70. I'd be 8dpo if I ovulated early?

Your scan result sounds promising Malbec. When do u usually ovulate? Sounds like it could be soon then. X

Mine is NHS too and I already have a DS. Must just be different in different areas. How long is your LP usually?

I don't usually ovulate until around cd20. I conceived DS on cd22 though! I'm really hoping clomid brings it forward a few days though!

My LP is usually 14/15 days from ovulation.

I've always ovulated early, cd 11 ish when my previous children were conceived. When I got the cp few cycles back I ovulated at cd8.

I'm nhs too footy and I have a child but they did say they had only just introduced the monitoring to my area so I was lucky.

Had day 21 progesterone test today so have to call for the results on Wednesday.

Oh you must just have a short cycle then footy So when are you expecting AF?

Thanks Malbec, feeling ok. We dtd around the right time, but then again we always do.

I will probably test Friday if no AF as I have a boozy works night out. Would be 11 dpo if I definitely ovulated.

I understand how you are feeling footy, it can be so frustrating especially when you don't know what your body is upto.

I'm 4dpo todayfooty. Mega stressed with teething problems at the new house and essays due in for my course. Plus I fell down the stairs rushing to the door for a delivery man and sprained my ankle so spent most of my day off in A and E.

Least it's keeping me from obsessing (although it was a bit tricky when going for the X ray when they asked is there any chance you could be pregnant lol)

Another high temp 36.73! 9 days of highs. So can now assume I did ovulate early cd4/5! Crazy. Fuzzy head today, a bit off of food today. Would love to have mega pregnancy symptoms but nothing. No cramps nothing! ? Oh and the hot flushes disappeared around when I think I ovulated. Not even going to bother testing before AF would b due as I really don't think I have a chance. Spoke to Gp who says it's possible to ovulate right on top of period as I took the prog pills to induce a bleed so I could have been near ovulation at the time? but at the same time it's possible a follicle was growing so as soon as AF shed lining the egg popped out?! She said pregnancy is possible but a much less chance.
She didn't seem that bothered I'm not monitored, just says it's not available here. Oh well..

Footy that makes sense then. 2£-5 cycle day were you when you took the pill to induce AF? Hope you manage to defy the odds.

I had pretty heavy cd13 bleeding, mood swings and bloating so am not sure about starting next month now. Ugh stupid bodies!

Scan went well. Got one dominant follicle now that's 14mm. She predicts I'll ovulate at weekend but I'm back on Friday to for another scan to check how it's grown again!

Good news Malbec, make sure you get plenty of dtd in now and over the weekend

I've has cycles like that since ttc too Bummy, not sure what causes it though.

I have all my usual symptoms - tired, sore boobs etc. But I get them every month, I have had more cm later on tho this time. Got some really good news today, my day 20 progesterone level was 79.5 which means I definitely ovulated on the 150 mg.

How are you feeling today footy?
