Hey super ovulators and those struggling with infertility after miscarriage this is where we are! Come on over ...

Thanks all, and sorry to hear that Mel. For some reason I have better lines in the afternoon; however, they are still rubbish today. My internet cheapies I usually use arrived today and I have done four tests with them; three are almost invisible and one is very light. Put it this way, I'm debating a large glass of vino this evening.

Pebbles73 · 01/07/2013 18:18

Ari can understand you taking some time out from the thread, you know where we are if you need us.

Brown sorry to hear no lines today. Sad

Also up for meeting, in Hertfirdshire so Lind

suemays · 01/07/2013 22:43

Brown that is weird with the lines - it doesnt make sense!!

I am coming up for my 2nd anniversary on here too in September. Never thought I would still be trying. Duggs if I have a 50th birthday party you would be more than welcome to come!! I have a few years to go yet though!

Re the meetup - I would prefer somewhere where I could drive to seeing as I would have to drive to a tube station anyway but happy to go into London if everyone else wants to. Maybe we can plot a map and draw a cross in the middle of where we all live?!! How about somewhere like Windsor as it seems to be fairly central to Hertfordshire, Bucks, Kent and Woking plus has some nice places to meet? Only prob would be mel in York.

lemonsherbet · 02/07/2013 12:26

I would need to get the train in to London. So would need somewhere on tube line to meet up. But if Windsor is easier I can drive there.

Welcome bugger. I am guessing you are doing ivf on the nhs? 12 months is a long time to wait. Are you on clomid whilst waiting? Most of us on here have tried letrozole. I had two chemicals on it so maybe you could try it whilst you wait?

Another suggestion for our meet up is uxbridge as its on the met and Piccadilly line on the tube plus easy access from the m40. I am happy to go anywhere!

suemays · 02/07/2013 15:59

Any other suggestions on where to meet up???

SpottyDotty1 · 02/07/2013 21:57

brown any more news on the line ??

lugs welcome :)

gransol good luck

brownstag · 03/07/2013 08:45

Lugs, welcome. How old are you, if you don't mind my asking. I was given Clomid on the NHS, even though I'm 42, and it's not meant to be good for us okder ladies. Certainly didn't work for me, though letrozole did. Well, for 8.5 weeks!
Spotty, there is still a faint line. I've stopped pred and Cyclogest and feel very 'womby', but still that line. I've always been a tad worried about this pregnancy because the first day or two after I got a positive, I also had some sudden left-sided spasms which made me wonder if it was ectopic. The fact that the lines are neither increasing nor disappearing totally makes me wonder even more ...

SpottyDotty1 · 03/07/2013 14:26

brown do you have a godd GP oe EPU dept where you are so they could at least check your hcg

brown I would continue with the pred and cyclogest if there is still a line. How many dpo are you? Thanks for the dhea by the way!

Buzzybee123 · 03/07/2013 18:36

brown I agree with sue and dotty* about keeping up with drugs and getting tested, it must be a total mind feck wondering what is going on

ari still thinking of you

ChoccyPud · 04/07/2013 07:29

Brown I'd suggest you get a couple of hcg tests to see what your levels are. A line is a line is a line. But numbers are the only thing that might indicate what's going on in there.

As for me: well here we go again... BFP this morning at 13/14 dpo. :)

Hadn't expected it as although I had a positive ov test this month my cycle has been all over the shop this year after my last mc and normally I'd be feeling very tired in the evenings by now. Maybe it's good I'm not this time. Who knows. Only tested today to see if I could have a drink while I'm out tonight! So, need to go get another first intralipids... Wonder if they'll do me 4-for-the-price-of-3...?? Hmm

Fantastic Choccy!!! You might have a point about tiredness; with all my MCs I've been tired to the point of feeling drugged, including this last one where I was in bed by 8.30/9.00, but with my DS I don't remember the same degree of tiredness. But having said that, I do know 'normal' people who had excessive tiredness in pregnancy.

brownstag · 04/07/2013 08:11

Remind us how you achieved this pregnancy choccy (apart from the obvious) - was this natural/superovulation/IVF? Sorry, I really have lost track of what everyone is doing.

Arianrhod · 04/07/2013 08:15

Cautious woohoo choccy - rooting for you!! :)

BellyD · 04/07/2013 09:39

Congrats Choccy let's hope this one is super sticky. We could do with some good news on here.

Brown I agree with Sue that you should keep on the meds for the time being and try and get an HCG test if you can.

Ari hope you are doing ok, thinking of you.

Waves to everyone else.
