Love it. Great site, that.

GrimmaTheNome · 14/04/2010 12:16

Quite right too.

At least that way we'd be sure that the BNP would only get one vote and UKIP would disappear entirely.

RustyBear · 14/04/2010 12:20

OK, who bagged FertileMyrtle as a username?

plus3 · 14/04/2010 12:59

That is fab!

Chulita · 14/04/2010 13:29

Question is: would MN ever approve of supernanny?

jackstarbright · 14/04/2010 13:42

Perfect!!

Oblomov · 14/04/2010 14:19

Another article making us look like morons.
All the great threads. But no we are quoted as what's the most important thing to us ? which biscuit the PM likes ? What sort of ham the MP gives his children ?
WE just appear as petty, ignorant, un-intelligent women. Tis so embarrassing.

monkeysavingexpertdotcom · 14/04/2010 14:25

Oh don't take it so seriously.

Goblinchild · 14/04/2010 14:29

Oblomov, did you look at any of the other stories they carried?
Puts the article in context, I had a good giggle.

SleepingLion · 14/04/2010 14:34

That brightened up my afternoon. Are we not allowed to smile at anything on MN these days?

InmyheadIminParis · 14/04/2010 15:03

love it - a British The Onion

ItalyLovingMummy · 14/04/2010 18:08

Are we using our votes according to what type of biscuit each candidate likes?

lobsters · 14/04/2010 20:15

Am loving that article, especially the QE2 AIBU, I bet opinions would be split on that one

bibbitybobbityhat · 14/04/2010 20:19

Oblomov, it is a satircal site. Its function is to take the p. Don't worry about it.

Adair · 14/04/2010 21:19

V funny . I didn't think it made us look like morons. Mostly two decent, intelligent concepts (Europe, forgiving MPs expenses) contrasting one light/'mummy' topic - biscuits/potty-training/ham etc. Sums up MN to me - I think it was written by a mumsnetter...

Also like 'I have never kicked a nun in the shins'

And I especially loved this one (following on from a different thread about people knocking your door).

OK Mary Evans, we know you're on here. Come out with your hands up

SparklyGothKat · 14/04/2010 22:58

love it

AgentZigzag · 14/04/2010 23:04

Oh...well I'll have you know I am a moron, thank you very much and I felt my interests and views were covered nicely in that article.

LEMneedsaholiday · 15/04/2010 09:53

I thought it was funny, do the countries leaders not ever consider anything so trivial as what goes into their children's lunch boxes? One would hope they might actually.

slipperthief · 15/04/2010 10:55

He he, that site's going to keep me giggling for a while.

Almost believable (and certainly beliveable if my ILs ever read it).
