How do you do that? Just forget or not care or be so hammered you can't remember a thing? It's such a basic instinct to protect kids though - I just don't understand how that gets over-ridden in cases like this.

The parents aren't even mentioned. Unbelievable that someone could do this. Just unbelievable. It never ceases to amaze me what human beings are capable of.

I suppose the parents aren't mentioned to protect them - because even if they were acting in absolute good faith and would never have dreamt of this sort of thing, some people will blame them for leaving her with this woman?
