Adam Jones - taken from his mum. Please help.

I hope I'm posting this at a good time to catch as many of you as possible to highlight the plight of Adam Jones and his family.

In short, Adam has been taken from his mother Rebecca, a British citizen who lives in Bahrain, by his late father's family in Qatar. From there, you can sign a petition urging the UK government to try to help Rebecca and Barrie in their fight for Adam. Sadly, there's been not much luck so far and a real lack of interest from the UK.

Anyway, thanks for reading this far. I really hope and pray that bringing this to mumsnetters attention will help get Rebecca the publicity and help she needs to get Adam home with her where he belongs.

You could try drumming up support from groups such as ;

Mothers for justice

Mothers 4 justice

CGFAP

FNF

JFF

ETC

although they might be working for different causes you may find they will sign the petition.

If you want to get support in this country you need to go to your local MP and ask them to raise an EDM where other mp's can sign (it sometimes kicks the ball off). Then other people can ask their MP to sign the EDM.

Have you tried the media outlets some can be very helpful, although not if you have a gagging order.

You can start a petition on the number 10 website and link you facebook page asking people to sign.
