nutter

MuffinBaker · 11/04/2009 15:27

I feel sorry for her.

pooka · 11/04/2009 15:33

Bloody stupid thing to do. Crazy. And so not fair on the bears, which could easily have had to be destroyed if they had responded and not been capable of being pushed away - think that 2 polar bears were shot in New York after kids entered their enclosure after the zoo was closed.

5intheEgg · 11/04/2009 15:33

Bonkers!

She'll be suing the zoo no doubt

duchesse · 11/04/2009 15:34

Stupid woman. People do this sort of thing with alarming regularity though. It never fails to amaze me that they clearly don't expect these wild animals to behave like, well, wild animals...

edam · 11/04/2009 15:36

Was she on drugs or something? Or just very, very, very stupid?

ZZZen · 11/04/2009 15:38

OMG
There was a huge amount of hype when Knut was born and when you went to the Berlin Zoo, you could barely get near the fence to see in to the polar bears enclosure, it was so crowded. Still I should have thought a grown up would have more sense that to jump in, also at feeding time, seems particularly unwise.

Why did none of the people standing around restrain her though? It takes a good while to climb up over a wire enclosure

omg what an idiot, I hope the polar bear didn't get put down

ickletickle · 11/04/2009 17:51

maybe she likes a bit of rough.

bronze · 11/04/2009 17:56

"A police spokesman added: "The woman has proved herself to be careless by jumping into the enclosure."

careless?

HeadFairy · 11/04/2009 17:59

I though at the careless line too. I think something might have been lost in the translation bronze.

TheCrackFox · 11/04/2009 17:59

She probably needs help but not from polar bears.

bronze · 11/04/2009 18:00

Have to say it just made me laugh

BabyBaby123 · 11/04/2009 19:02

idiot

BunnyLebowski · 11/04/2009 20:17

Just to add, I read about this on another website where it said she was at the zoo with her husband and baby.

I can only imagine she's mentally ill as I find it hard to believe she'd do this in front of her kiddie just for a laugh

mrsmaidamess · 11/04/2009 20:23

these pictures are shocking! How she didn't get killed, I don't know

HecAteTheEasterBunny · 11/04/2009 20:25

either she has mental health problems or she's one of these bloody stupid people who see the fluffy cuddly animals looking so cute and think they're in a fecking disney film or something.

Wild animal. Big teeth. Big claws. It does not want to burst into song with you while you stroke it. It wants to eat you.

Daffodingles2 · 11/04/2009 20:30

Did you watch that video?
Good God! She must be suffering from mental health problems.
It's the zoo keepers I feel sorry for > Can you imagine what they were thinking!

tengreenbottles · 11/04/2009 21:26

i thought the sideline at the bottem of the page about how pregnancy magazines are responsible for pnd interesting ,apparently having a baby is a 'big ,beautiful adventure ' . As for polar women , severe pnd i reckon bordering on pyschosis

lordy

brimfull · 11/04/2009 21:40

god nothing that exciting ever happens when we go to the zoo

bronze · 11/04/2009 22:17

should add when I say it made me laugh I meant the police comment not what the woman had done.
