Which channel will be best for coverage? In fact which channel is actually going to cover the whole thing?

I want to sit and watch it with dts when they get home from school as this is one of those moments in history, I want them to see this important day.

@ being nice to everyone

I will be watching too, armed with tissues.

DH met him and heard him speak a couple of years ago, when he came home he told me he'd met the future president.

Really???
God, I am not impressed by anyone really but i have always thought him a wonderful man. Something about him is so noble and inspiring.Have followed every twist in this saga and rooted for him all the way.

I'll be there. The DCs will have to forage for wild berries and dubious mushrooms if they want to eat.

moondog · 19/01/2009 22:35

In honour of a new noble kinder future as personified by Obama, that's why.

Hassled · 19/01/2009 22:36

Moondog, don't even think about being nice to everyone. You're often the only one with the guts to say what we're all thinking .

moondog · 19/01/2009 22:37

Phew.

I like the sound of his MIL as well - I was reading something about potential strife when she moves into the WH as she has slightly more laid-back views re child-raising. She said: "If you want fried chicken, have fried chicken". There's a woman who will go her own way regardless of who her SIL is .
