What on earth inspired this piece of evil minded vitriol ?

IMO it goes beyond valid criticism and is just downright vicious. Especially this bit:

Yeah, but TP is a raddled old hasbeen. He did a series of programmes on class once. The "middle class" one was based on a couple in my home town . They were the dullest, beigest, most pretentious dinner party people I had ever seen. I he was loving it, lapping it up.

Hey peter kay is a great comedian. Nothing too offensive and I for one object to the Northern comment.

tony parsons is probably peed off with the reviews of his new book (The Family Way). Someone left it in our loo (I presume dh!) and it's so dire, I found myself wanting to shout at the main male character in it (things like get a life!). I only managed to read around 3 chapters before completely giving up.

ks, No! Peter Kay is a comedian - he did Phoenix Nights among other stuff and I think did a song for comic relief?

I know his comedy is not to everyone's taste, fair enough but I just thought that 'article' was downright spiteful.
