FAITH AND HOPE

The operation to separate them is taking place now after some concerns.

Please lets all think of them and hope for the best.

It has brought tears to my eyes and my heart was in my mouth when they said they had breaking news.

Fingers crossed for the little mites and their parents.

BouncingTinsel · 02/12/2008 15:28

Apparently they are joined at the liver - and the liver is the only organ that can regenerate.
Praying for a positive outcome for these two babies and their parents - it must be so worrying for them!

christMAScomesbutonceayear · 02/12/2008 15:28

fingers very crossed

ABudafulSightWereHappyTonight · 02/12/2008 15:32

Fingers crossed here too. Their parents are so young to be going through this. Love the girls' names too.

jingleMAMADIVAsbells · 02/12/2008 15:50

Saw them on the news yesterday they are gorgous little girls, didnt know they were being seperated today though?!?

The only organ they are joined at is the liver which is a good thing as grows back quickly but they also share a blood supply so they will have to be very careful with that but my thought are with them and their parents Fingers crossed

Really surprised it hasn't been mentioned on the radio news bulletins.

Hope has died.

just watching the news.
Her mum called her Hope as she knew she was the weaker of the twins.that choked me up.

thenewme · 03/12/2008 10:22

I think the parents have been utterly amazing from what I have read, especially the mum as she is only 18.

Everything crossed for Faith.

AW that's so sad

MaHumbug · 03/12/2008 10:25

How sad. was there a reason why they operated while they were still so young?

DingDongDisasterAreaOnHigh · 03/12/2008 10:26

oh no. saw on the news they had had to operated.
that's really sad. poor hope. poor family

Doodle2U · 03/12/2008 10:30

They felt the op was necessary now rather than later because both twins had heart problems and they were starting to struggle.

RIP Hope

Pantofino · 03/12/2008 10:30

Oh no! I saw on the BBC this morning that there would be a statement later. That is so sad and has brought tears to my eyes. Prayers for Faith and the family.

goldFAQinsenceandmyrrh · 03/12/2008 10:31

oh no

KarisTiasMum · 03/12/2008 10:41

I'm just watching as they are discussing this on this morning.

I'm so sorry for this family, my best wishes to them all.. and lots of love to baby Faith.

AndaPartridgeOnADustyTv · 03/12/2008 10:42
Sad
PeachyBidsYouNadoligLlawen · 03/12/2008 10:44

So sad but then again joyful that atb least one survived I guess- that horrid complex situation. Tears for poor Hope (in my defence tis ds1's birthday which means the anniversary of us both almost dying) and saying prayers for them all. Sweet dreams little one, welcome to the world faith and so many thoughts ofr their aprents.

I did think their names were wonderful.

MaHumbug · 03/12/2008 10:54

I've seen the statement now. Poor parents and Faith.

jingleMAMADIVAsbells · 03/12/2008 10:58

Oh no that is terrible

I am crying too must be such a horrible feeling for the parents you wouldn't know whether to be happy or not.

I pray that little hope is happy and free from pain with all the other departed angels who were taken too soon

And at the same time I wish Faith and her family well.

thenewme · 03/12/2008 11:36

I have only one surviving twin but no way can I imagine how they are feeling. It is just too sad for words.

Please God let faith survive.

MaggsS · 03/12/2008 11:54

I was out shopping with my little one and I heard the news.

I cannot stop crying for them all.

The parents have been so brave especially as the mum is so young but I believe they have their religeous beliefs and hopefully that will keep them strong for little Faith.

I will be in church myself for my son's school carol service and although I am not deeply religeous I will say a big pray

Hulababy · 03/12/2008 11:58

Poor parents; what a dreadful time for them.

Poor little Hope.

I hope Faith can pull through.

MMJ- Doesn't really matter if it was the choice you would have made, they did what they couuld under tough circumstances they didn't know what the outcome would have been.

I just hope they don't get ill thought out comments like that from people in RL
