This. Venezuela has the largest oil reserves in the world. Trump wants them and he doesn’t care a bit about democratic process or international law.

Well, he's been making noises about Venezuela for a few weeks. He's struck at their boats in the Carribbean (some were oil tankers?) and is doing all of this under the premise of the war on drugs (narcotics). The attacks on Caracas are an extension of this, and very provocative in my opinion.

Venezuela is an oil based economy. Probably Trump wants the oil too. He also wants a Nobel Peace Prize but that's surely fantasy land. He's good at fantasy, I'll give him that but nothing else!

Trump is a dangerous would-be dictator in the most powerful job in the world. It's worrying. He's thick and is a total pillock.

Yeah terrible situation in Venezuela but is that where we're at now? Airstrikes and abduction of leaders from other countries? Who are America working with on this? Have they collaborated with any opposition parties in Venezuela? What happens there now, who fills the vacuum? Or is that some other person's problem to sort out?

They’ve been in a ‘war on drugs’ for over 30 years now and nothing has worked. They have entire cities addicted to fentanyl and crystal meth. I won’t go into how much more horrific it is than anything you get here, but tbh I couldn’t care less about international law if it’s a final resort to achieve a legitimate and important goal.

I don’t know what Trump or doesn’t care about, but I care that his decisions are, on a balance, for the good. I think removing this maniac is, on a balance, good. I do think Trump’s ‘thing’ is taking the trash out re crime and drugs, I can get behind that.

It’s been rumbling on for months, def not out of nowhere! I saw one of the charges in a New York court against the president is ‘possession of a machine gun.’ Seems bizarre - he is/was the president of a country, he could possess whatever guns he wanted!

Well I don't agree that these actions will protect humanity from harm in the long run, and as I said they need to also look closer to home if they want to start solving their drug problem. I also think you are massively naive if you think Trump gives two f**cks about drug addicted Americans.
