What the fuckery????

"Scientology's Volunteer Minister's Handbook:

Breast feeding babies may have a nostalgic background, particularly to a Freudian oriented medico, but real breast milk again is usually a poor ration. Modern mothers smoke and sometimes drink. Smoking makes the milk very musty. Anyway, a nervous modern mother just can't deliver the right ration. Maybe it's the pace of the times or the breed, but there are few modern Guernsey-type mothers. So even without drinking or smoking, one should forget breast feeding.
...

The foremost reason a baby doesn't do well is poor rations. And to remedy that, here is a formula one can use:

15 ounces of barley water
10 ounces of homogenized milk
3 ounces of corn syrup (As the Romans had honey, 2 ounces of honey may be used instead of corn syrup, if desired. Do not use lactose [a sugar found in milk, used in infant foods] as a substitute.) The amount of syrup should be varied - depending on the baby - some like it weak - some take it stronger."

They are mad.

L Ron Hubbard invented Scientology for a bet.

Katie Holmes did bf. Saw a pic of her being dragged to premiere by wierdo dh Tom soon after birth and you could see the breast pads through her sheer dress. Poor woman

i was just about to post you should see ud about this when i realised it was you that started it! Oi you dont phone text msn anymore! What am i dumped now!

theAfkaUrbanDryad · 12/05/2008 20:26

pmsl MM - my MSN is acting weird, and i texted you the other day!! We still on for Wed?

Katie Holmes has been quite vocal about the rights of nursing mothers in the US, so i think we can safely assume that she's nursing her baby!

I don't know if this "formula" is actually being used in the UK though. It'd be so difficult to gain proof of it - until the baby ended up in A&E, anyway - I'm just trying to get the point across that Scientologist mothers could kill their babies if they use this stuff. Maybe there'll be a Scientologist mother reading this who'll switch to normal baby formula or relactate

That's beyond quirky religiosity.

Bridie3 · 12/05/2008 21:11

I am speechless. How can they say such daft things?

theAfkaUrbanDryad · 12/05/2008 21:26

This makes me RAGE
Fuck you, LRH, you pathetic piece of shit. Fuck you forever.

I love this post off the enturbulation forum. Pretty much sums it up IMO

Not many good Guernsey milkers around anymore. We're all starving our babies, instead of being bovine creameries.

So lets just poison them instead. FCOL.

theAfkaUrbanDryad · 12/05/2008 21:50

yeah - i love the way that his only point of reference is cow's milk!

I've read about this before.

But why shouldn't two year old Suri still be having a baby's bottle?

I think it depends what dentist you have actually (my dentist told me breastfeeding causes tooth decay)

It still seems a little unfair though to be critising Suri for having a bottle.

yes,

ninedragons · 13/05/2008 08:16

There was a case last year about some crackpot vegans in Georgia (the US state, not the Eastern European country) whose newborn baby died because they invented a "formula" that was primarily apple juice. They went to jail.

I hope any Scientologist who uses this recipe does likewise, for child endangerment.
