Trump will get the minerals he wants either way. He either gets Ukraine to agree or he lets Putin take and gets an agreement that way. He has no empathy, cares not for humans but only for what he can get. He is evil.

One of Trumps first comments when Zelensky arrived was "he's dressed up today" or something like that so he humiliated him and tried to make him look small right from the beginning, different rules for his bromance with musk

American politics seems so different to British politics. In the Houses of Parliament you see passive aggressive or dogs followed by rounds of applause and one politician feeling slightly wounded. This interview was aggressive and rude. How Trump refered to his previous prime ministers was shocking

It is scary to hear about, and it was scary to watch.

No one had an issue with what Zelensky was wearing (and has worn in every public appearance for years without comment).

The outrage was confected to wrong-foot Zelensky and create a hostile environment in the room – presumably to agitate Zelensky, give Trump and Vance the upper hand, paint Zelensky as belligerent by goading him, and plant the seed in the minds of the American audience that the Ukranian president had somehow been disrespectful (using the classic ploy of falsely appearing to speak on behalf of the ‘American public’). Therefore providing justification for the horrific spectacle that followed.

@kungfoofighting I totally agree. Zelenskyy was set up and ambushed. The scary thing is that however Trump and Vance have made themselves look to a fair proportion of the rest of the globe, their supporters will think it just fine.

If you watched it live and didn’t find it scary and chilling I don’t think you understood what was happening.

Trump has not diplomacy and bully tactics it is his way but most politicians are only in for themselves. You are deluded if you think otherwise.
