It appears that the rioters have set Sunderland police station on fire

I said this to DH today. Turn a powerful fireman's hose on them that will knock them to the ground. They are being far too soft with them.

Facts have no place with these thugs apparently.

Is there somewhere we can find out where these marches are planned? I live somewhere that has been a target for their marches in the past and feel very uneasy.

I bet not one of these thugs could name any of the victims’ names.

I read, on the BBC, that Tommy Robinson tweeted that the killer was an illegal immigrant who recently arrived on a ‘small boat’. The fact that he was born and raised in the uk is not what they want to hear.

To be honest I have been a bit uncomfortable with the rush to clarify that the suspect is not this or that religion or not this or that immigration status.

It matters not. It wouldnt make a difference if he was Muslim and newly arrived, it wouldnt legitimise this violence and racism, it wouldnt validate racist views.

I feel so sick, seeing all this. What kind of world do these morons think that behaving like this will create? Setting police stations on fire, throwing missiles at the police and overturning cars doesn't achieve anything and I truly can't fathom what possible reasoning there is for thinking it does. I feel so helpless and just so, so sad.

I did enjoy seeing that thug take a brick to the bollocks the other day, though. More of that might just make this a little more bearable.

One of the most horrifying aspects of this is the enjoyment you can see on the rioters faces. It’s a racist street party for them. They don’t care about the poor girls who lost their lives or knife crime in this country. This was an opportunity to engage in drunken disorder while expressing their most disgusting opinions. I worry that when the dust settles this will become demonisation of the working class rather than examination of the disturbing racism that still exists and is enabled in this country.
