She does look a bit different. But at least she's out and about.

I am guessing we will know soon enough as they told us she would return after Easter. For what it's worth in my mind the 3 images - in car, mother's day photo and video at farm shop are all different people. I still think there is no big drama, she is genuinely recovering from whatever op she had.

Don't you dare make racist comments about the English!!

You wouldn't say that about Pakistanis or Nigerians or anyone else!!

Weird reaction, but ok...

She didn't have to release that photo on that day... it was a calculated choice for whatever reason and I don't agree that we should over look it. They are not ordinary people and do not have the same freedoms. They have near limitless resources. Its not a "mistake", you cannot accidentally edit a photo to oblivion. If we cannot trust them with a photograph how on earth can we trust them to lead the nation (since people seem to forget that they actually do!)

If she hadn't released a photo the people would have gone wild they released a badly edited one and people still went wild they are literally damned either way

Dontcallmescarface · 19/03/2024 14:32

Too ill to shake a few hands but well enough to carry a bag of shopping and wander around town.....ok then. 😂

whatyear · 19/03/2024 14:33

This still of the video doesn't look much like her tbf but in the video it's clearly her

knittingball · 19/03/2024 14:39

Another thread to hid.
How many more are gonna keep posting about this crap.
They are a family with life things happening we dont need threads every hour on it.

Right but they didn't have to release that photo. They've got the time, money and resources to take a better photo.
Not saying i think there's any big conspiracy, I just don't think it's right.

She was at a farm shop, not a town. Have you ever been to one? You generally park outside and walk into the shop, buy stuff, and walk back out to your car. 10 minutes. It’s not like she was doing the bloody can-can up Oxford Street.

And since witnesses said she was looking at bread I’m wavering she might have had a loaf or two to carry, not a bag full of tinned food.

Differentstarts · 19/03/2024 14:44

Edited

Kate had a full shopping bag. Look at the video, the bag is full.
Kate's work is usually phone calls, internal meetings, video messages, and visits to film premieres or sports events. It is not physically taxing.

Honestly!! Your posts are embarrassing. What is going to happen when it is confirmed the footage is fake? I am expecting a full apology bookmark.

Cuckoo. Cuckoo.

I am honestly in shock how much people on this thread really seem to want Kate, dead, abducted, mentally ill or abducted. Why???? If it is her, why that bothers you so much

I think this goes too far.

You're exaggerating for effect - there are posters who do want more information - but after getting sucked into the myriad Kate threads, I haven't seen ONE single comment that approaches what you say.

I would be interested to know how many name changes there have been on this board and how many actual individuals have been posting all that crap about the RF. The usage stats would be very interesting. Can MN see if a post is from a bot or 'real' poster?

lol why because only people who post positive stuff about the royals count?

Ahugga · 19/03/2024 14:56

AliasGrape · 19/03/2024 14:14

It was a picture of Kate and her children that they labelled as being of Kate and her children, and captioned 'Happy Mother's Day'.

I can see how it would be an issue if they aged Wills up a bit through editing and said 'here's the king, fit and well' or whatever.

Royalty have literally always manipulated their image - back to portraits of Henry VIII and beyond. The technology has moved on, but the need to portray whatever version of 'royal' or 'strong' or 'majestic' etc goes right to the root of who they are and what function they serve as an institution. Kate has been put in the role of picture perfect princess and that's what they need her to be, and what they need to portray.

People couldn't just accept that she had surgery and was recovering - it was all clamouring and conspiracy and insisting that Wills was trying to get rid of her or she was trying to escape, or worse that she'd been harmed in some way. So they felt pressure to release a photo and more pressure than usual probably to make it one where she and the kids looked happy and well and not like anyone was being coerced to be there or was covering facelift scars or a black eye or whatever else.

It was pretty bloody thick to think they'd get away with it maybe, given the level of speculation, but I guess I just can't see where the malicious intent was.

Plus Kate doesn't, and never will, 'lead the country'.

Henry vii used to chop his wives heads off. Is that a royal tradition they should be allowed to continue?
Where do you draw the line? What amount of lying is acceptable in your opinion?

Maia77 · 19/03/2024 14:57

If that's her, she's definitely had a facelift. Are they trying to hide that? But surely it will be noticeable.

CoutureBakes · 19/03/2024 14:58

Not her and not William next to her, it's their "lookalikes"

Do you not wonder how many actual individuals post the weirdly positive things about the RF, defending everything they do ? Those usage stats would probably be very interesting too.

That wasn’t really my point! More that the notion of royalty has always been about image.
Im not arguing ANY of it should continue - just that if you’re going to have one then enhanced images kind of go with the territory.

coffeeandcake91 · 19/03/2024 15:07

I don't understand how anyone can say that doesn't look like her. It does.

Well, why not release a normal one then?!

She's obviously well enough to be out and about, so why not just a little photoshoot reading a few get well cards in her lounge?
