Oh the poor man!

I hope that he is as lucky as my dh, he has the same cancer and is 'exceeding expectations'.

They gave dh 3-6 months a year last Christmas.

Some people can be fortunate, I only hope this guy is one of them

VanillaPumpkin · 05/03/2008 17:58

Carol Barnes is fighting for her life. Sad sad news for both their families.

Saggarmakersbottomknocker · 05/03/2008 18:03

Hoping both Patrick and Carol can beat the odds.

Wisteria · 05/03/2008 18:07

I hope it's wrong, they don't mention any secondaries. You just can't believe it can you...

Dp's dad was diagnosed day before yesterday with pancreatic cancer and secondary tumours in the lungs, liver and neck - am waiting for DP to get back from hospital to find out how long he has, apparently not treatable

PersonalClown · 05/03/2008 18:17

A quick google show that nearly everyone is just passing on the Nat Enq's 'scoop'.

SpookyMadMummy · 05/03/2008 18:31

for both of them.

Blandmum · 05/03/2008 18:33

We went to the hospital today for u unexpected x-ray, dh has been getting n=breathless.

Doc thinks it is partly due to fluid build up, so he will be having that drained tomorrow.

Blandmum · 05/03/2008 18:33

Not tomorrow! Monday. That come of me thinking, 'Tomorrow I'll have to plan the cover lessons for Monday!'

VanillaPumpkin · 05/03/2008 18:34

Fingers crossed MB!

flossish · 05/03/2008 18:35

whenever i hear that someone has cancer I always hope it isn't this one. Hope it isn't true.

MB you must be very proud of your DP.
