There were a couple of people whos lives I was envious of. Sadly thier live have taken awful turn in the past year. I learned not to be envious because we aqll have problems.

Not so much learned as realised but the fact that people will accept and excuse the behaviour of certain people regardless. Behaviour they wouldn't accept in others in society. (Edged round that one so no one will have a clue what I am on about.)

I also know how much everything we believe in is all based on lies.

I have learned that DH is absolutely brilliant at what he does, having finally been given the chance to prove himself.

I have also learned (through the behaviour of others) that you can have everything your heart desires, and still be a mean, miserable bastard.

Happily, I too have discovered the delights of glitter eye liner, and have used it to good effect this winter. On the same note, may I add that Chanel make up is far superior to the other shite I have used for years.
