12 year old girl missing for 7 days!!

But there is hardly any coverage, I haven't heard it on national news at all.

She disappeared from her home 9am on Monday and they thought there was a possibility she could have travelled to North Devon. I'll try and share the link so people can share. So worrying, she's so young.

I'm shocked there seems to have been no coverage at all OP. Sometimes it seems random who gets coverage and who doesn't. She's still just a wee girl.

So young...they have footage of her leaving home in her flip flops 9am on the 20th.....

I live in North Devon so have seen on local sites om fb, they think she could have travelled to Bideford. I found the link for ITV so it has gone to national news but haven't seen it on national TV.

I noticed this story. I think they know more than they are letting on about where she is. The way it reads, they are not that worried. It’s very strange.

The fact the police haven't been actively using the media makes me think they know there's a complicated story eg likely to be at dads/relative/friends house or it's a frequent thing she does. Typically they are very active after 48 hours or so of a teen being missing

Were staying with family in Devon at the moment which is the only reason I've heard about this girl being missing.

I was shocked that it had not made the national press. I realise that sometimes the family/police "know" that a missing child is 99.5% likely to be with friends or whoever but surely after a day or two missing and the child hasn't been found they need to make it more public in case there's more to it than they originally believe.

She is in my daughters class at school, DD is so sad. There is so little coverage of her disappearance locally let alone nationally. I truly hope she is found safe very soon.

When there’s less coverage it usually means the police know more about the person or circumstances. I once attended a brief on missing people and it was fascinating, how police can pin point most people based on age, demographic, history.
Anyway, I hope she’s found whatever the circumstance

I thought that when I saw it on dm. No coverage on fb and there's usually 100 people reposting a missing child. Very strange.

My son was in the same class in Primary. Talk in the community groups say she was trying to get back to her family in Bideford as she'd been placed in foster care. It's awful all round, she's a lovely little girl.
