My first thought was that she didn't really learn that much about herself following on from the 'sex addiction' documentary earlier in the year.

IIRC she examined her childhood and adult (sexual) relationships. The therapist concluded with her that she has characteristics of sex (or relationship) addiction/co-dependency. She advised her to abstain for at least one year.

But she's entered another relationship and made the decision to have another child. I'm not passing judgement on that decision at all, just pondering on what that decision is indicative of (if anything).

Hope it works out for her, though. I do doubt it, though, based on her previous experiences.

Again, I wonder what that's about. Maybe it's her biological clock ticking, who knows. Maybe it was accidental.

TBH, if money was not a concern for me then I would bloody well have as many babies as I wanted, regardless of whether the relationship was likely to last.

I'd call a man a skank who fathered lots of children by different mothers in a random, unplanned, careless way too.

Her first child was the child of her first husband.

Her second child was the child of someone she was in a serious relationship with (and as he'd moved to the UK to be with her she had reasons to think that he took the relationship seriously).

Her third child was the child of her second husband.

Her fourth child is the child of someone else she's in a serious relationship with and is planning to marry.

Notice no children by the deeply unsuitable men she's been involved with.

None of this strikes me as being obviously random, unplanned or careless.

As long as she's a good mother to the children, they are wanted and she can provide for them, why should it matter who their fathers are, or whether they are from marriages or one night stands?

well, do you know what, she is making the best of things.

she comes across as a good mother, you don;t see her falling out of clubs and being pissed all the time.

don;t think that becasue she is a serial monagamist, she should b e called a skank .. she is not having one night stands, 'trapping' these men into fathering her children.

people in the public eye don't always behave as we would like or expect them to, neither do regular people.

Oh no, she's not tarty. Just a shame she can't find one decent bloke to settle down with for once and for all. As a previous poster pointed out, she does start the relationships with good intentions, and the fact that they don't work out perhaps means she just isn't a great judge of character. And perhaps she just wants to be loved (don't we all?!).

Good luck to her, I say, but I am very old fashioned and don't feel particularly comfortable with the idea of 4 children by 4 different men. I bet she's a great mum, though, and she can certainly look after them financially. She's not asking for anything from anyone else, is she?
