Apparently due to pressure from Anti- LBGTQ groups - AND MUMSNET - the scheduled Story time with stories read by a drag queen have been cancelled in Leeds

Is it true that Mumsnet put pressure on for the cancellation - and if so why?
I do hope that anyone who agrees with this this isn't planning on taking their child to a panto - their child will be irrevocably harmed by seeing a man in drag as a panto dame obviously.
Surely our message to our children is "Live and Let Live"/

Because a woman who was dressed in the manner the drag queen's are, with that much make up and with a air of being highly sexualised wouldn't be hired for anything to do with children.

Women who look like drag queen's get the piss ripped out of them and are seen as sad.

Drag is wholly unsuitable for children and raises a number of safeguarding risks. It is misogynistic, sexualised and has no place being any type of 'entertainment' for children.

This particular entertainer is highly problematic. The drag isn't the biggest issue with him at all. Not even close.
