When I was dating my ex, he used constantly to allude to the fact that he had been an active member of an 'MC' (motorcycle club) and would show me pictures of graves of people whio had been killed because of their allegiance to one or the other 'MC's. It was so, so crappy, he used to think it really impressed me that he knew all this hush hush stuff and I was never, ever to mention that I knew him or talk about 'the club' to anyone because 'walls have ears' etc etc etc.

It was so ridiculous I used to have to stifle my laughter. I mean there was nothing to talk about in any case. It just seemed like a load of idiots who liked to look like they had mystique and power and were constantly in danger.

Same geezer used to play paintball at every opportunity and shoot squirrels. He was 40 FGS.

That is what that link reminds me of. Personally I wouldn't dare comment though as I might be shot or something.

And it is someone's funeral which is sad.
