theres a lad who lives down my dads road aged about 24 and his name is dwayne pipe, parents do not have a sense of humour so can only imagine that they were not fully aware of the stick he would take!

I used to work in a bank and in the olden days, we used to hand stamp the cheque books with the sustomer's name. Nobody ever wanted to go out into the front office and shout that a Mr Wanklyns cheque book was ready! My ex dh took great deliht in telling me that they had a new secretary starting work, only young, first job etc and the rotton b...ds had made her walk down the office looking for someone. They told her it was really urgent, she had to find him quickly and that his name was Michael Hunter, but whatever you do, don't call him Michael, call him Mike. That pooor girl walked up and dopwn the big office, very stressed, saying loudly "Has anyone seen Mike Hunt?" Read it and weep!!!!

I used to work for a dentist and one of our patients was a Mr Harry Beaver. There's also a famous oil family in Texas named Hogg and the daughters were called Ima and Ura. Now that's just cruel.

blueteddy · 28/10/2004 09:34

Maybe they are not putting the 2 together b4 naming them!
I also work with a ks1 teacher called Mrs Horne!
Can't be the same 1, surely!
