It's so sad

There seem to be so mny of these cases in the news at the moment. There is another one on Sky News today

Peachy · 12/08/2007 14:43

It's a 17 month old this time isn't it? How do they live with themselves? Don't jump on me but I can 'see' (and of course loathe) it when someone snaps- but this kind of sustained abuse...... how can anyone understand?

My instinct says no to sterilisation because sooner or later there'sd be a miscarriage of justice- eg Sally Clarke. But I can understand completely why soemone would feel that way about these people as well. Especially on a parenting forum.

JudgeJudyAndExecutioner · 12/08/2007 18:14

Yes it was a 17 month old boy who was on the at risk register with social servcies. The hospital reported he had a broken back, 2 missing fingernails and several fractured ribs.

In My opinion hanging would be too good for these sickos and in both cases they were 23-25 I think one of the boyfriends was 31 so even if they got a life sentence they'd be out too soon for me.

These two cases are so sad the poor baby with a brocken back must have been in such unbelievable agony. All that pain and suffering by the very people these little toddlers look up to.
I think its sooo hard for mums to read about all these kids dying before they've even had a chance to live.
NOT PARENTS...MONSTERS.

You know, the thing about her having no toys rang a bell with me.

When my h.v. came to visit after dd2's birth, she commented on how there were toys around and therefore we were a 'relaxed' kind of household.

Made me think there must be lots of kids whose toys either (a) don't exist or (b) aren't permitted in the downstairs domain.

I found that sad to start with. In this context it's unbearable.

Aw. I have a twenty month old daughter. I love her wee nails.

I often trip over toys.

2mum · 13/08/2007 00:30

That is so sad Poor little girl. The mother looks very hard faced and evil in her mugshot on the link. Its hard to believe she gave birth to such a beautiful little girl.

Easywriter · 13/08/2007 01:08

This is truly evil.
I can't help but weep for this poor beautiful child and all those like her who are suffering at the hands of evil people.

I'm disappointed with their sentences. If you can commit this hideous, torture of another human being, particulalry one so defenceless, then I feel that life should mean you are locked up FOREVER.

EYE FOR AN EYE

I am currently watching my young cousin become depressed and miserable due to treatment of her at home, we have called social services who said they can do nothing, short of dragging her out of the home and "kidnapping" her, there is not much we can legally do. While it is no way comparrable to this horrible crime, SS need to DO more, stop thinking that things will be "okay" when things are clearly not right.

I treasure my daughter, and I pray that if I EVER got into a situation like this little girls mum and SS sat by and did nothing, that SOMEBODY would forceably take my child away from me because I love her too much to let her be treated like that, even if I couldn't see it at the time. And what makes me feel so sad about this case is there was nobody who loved her deeply enough to do anything. And even worse, neighbours who did their best to help were ignored, the poor neighbours must feel bloody awful, even if they did everything in their power

I hope that Gordon Brown takes the legal limit on canabis to a no tolerance. I know somebody who suffers from schizoprenia caused from years of "harmless cannibis smoking"
