I said to my Mum earlier in the year when all that marriage scandel came out "I bet she'll be pregnant by the summer"...my Mum reminded me of that comment today when we found out the news!

I think she is just coping me..my baby due in February...she better not nick my baby name!

yes Janh - I would probably join it if I was 8 weeks pg but not let the newspapers know (not that they'd be interested of course!) It always seem a bit of a shame to me when famous people's precious news is released or escapes before they've had time to think about it themselves

I don't suppose for a minute that it was them who let it out - have heard rumours for a couple of weeks, it'll have come from "friends".

I am glad though - they do seem like a pretty nice family mostly. I hope they get a girl this time as well (though re my "boy gang" thread, lots of boys is nice too!)

Oh bless her - she showed such dignity, and I'm really happy for both of them. I just hope he keeps it in his pants from now on. I don't like or dislike her, just thought she was lucky to have got so far with so little talent. Nothing against her though, and hopefully it will bring them together (umm, probably not though if my experience is anything to go by...)

Im pleased for them and hope they have a healthy happy baby. I bet the british press are jumping up and down with glee.

I honestly think that having a baby to save a relationship is not a good idea. Hopefully they will prove me wrong!

I still think that there is a possibility that she may just accept that having such a desirable famous husband means he is likely to have affairs. We don't know that there has been any animosity in the relationship at all do we? So I just hope that they are and will be happy together and that everything isn't just a show for the media.

I don't think they have ever announced a pregnancy this early. I hope it all goes well for them though.

And I guess the other thing to remember is that David B. didn't admit to the fullblown affair thing ever, did he? It might never have happened. And the Beckhams may have decided that bringing a court case would put the whole story back on the front pages, rather than just letting it die off.

Having just had a relation (of course, not half as famous as David B.) in a newspaper scandal along similar lines, I can now see the Beckham point of view a bit more clearly.....

Still, I bet they will come up with a crazy name. Do you think they have a name stylist?
