I'm pleasantly surprised at the standard of cleanliness in such a holiday accommodation if only one extra set of prints were found. God, I hope this isn't too trite a thing to say on such a thread.

I really don't know what has got into MNHQ regarding these threads. You lot are treating this like a soap opera, laughing and joking and waiting for the next installment.

No personal attacks here, because I know how you like to press that red button, but what do you hope to gain from this?

There is nothing to discuss, we all hope she is found, but what is there left to talk about?

The parents are trying to keep this in the news before it gets to the stage where people get bored as there is no news. I guess the thing they want is for people to keep remembering lest they see something on holiday or remember something. As they are doing a good job of doing this, by travelling all over the place. It's only right and I personally couldn't care less how it's done, to help them by talking about it even if it's utter shite.

I watched them on the news today and I truly believe that the whole 'roadshow' is because it's making them feel as if they are doing something.

But what exactly is going on here? Unless you were on holiday in the Algarve at the time of the abduction, or can shed any light at all on the investigation, why on earth are you churning over and over this in such minute detail? Its so ghoulish.

Truly unfathomable.

I agree with welshboris, and have thought so since all this outpouring of shallowness began. I am amazed that some people have so little to do, say and think about, that they obviously have time to purely speculate and gossip about such a serious subject. Yes, intially this 'story' was prominent, but now, a month later, someone decides to restart a thread on it just for the sake of it?!

Get a life and use the brain that you've been given to actually THINK.

Apparently man called from unregistered PAYG mobile from unidentified (by police) country , not thought to be Morocco, saying he knows where she is and wanted to speak directly to the McCanns. Call was made to Spanish Police.

Credible information in call made them rule out a crank caller apparently. Parents have been informed.
