I could weep - I've only had two and I didn't even look like that before I got pregnant!

fio i cnat get msn to work come on my pissed thread

macmama73 · 18/05/2007 22:06

Why shouldn't she have as many children as she wants? She has a lovely family and it is a shame that some on mn are so critical of her. (Although I do agree with the comments on the names, baby Armani, poor kid.)

mummypigoink · 18/05/2007 22:12

Probably the only time someone with 13 kids has been in the Daily Mail and not been blamed for all the ills in the world .

LoveAngel · 18/05/2007 22:16

Oh come on - she's appearing in the Daily Hate-Mail talking about the fact she's had 13 kids and has still got a tight f*nny and kiddies size waist. I don't feel that sorry for her.

DeviousDaffodil · 18/05/2007 22:17

And the story is??
Oh daily mail - another dig at women.

Marls001 · 18/05/2007 22:17

She is in fact on one extreme side of the bell curve for # of children. And that - not her weight - is the reason she's made the news. There are plenty of thin grandmas out there. But the story is she's thin with 13 kids.

By mention of "crazy streak," just trying to keep it light. No harm intended. She is highly unusual. Do agree that her choice obviously is valid for her, as she seems happy.

MNers are quick to ridicule FF, CC & just about anything else. There should be no surprise there.

DeviousDaffodil · 18/05/2007 22:19

Gorgeous children though. Look well cared for.
Good luck to them all.

LoveAngel · 18/05/2007 22:20

um, is she supposed to be some sort of feminist icon or summat? she's got up the duff 13 times and she can still wear ugly cheap tops that show off her belly? Sorry if I'm not falling over myself to stand shoulder to shoulder with her in sisterly solidarity. Of course I supoort her decision as a woman to keep breeding and wearing bra tops from primark blah blah blah

I think that generally the younger you first have children, the faster you do snap back into shape, and then there is the running around after 13 children. It is amazing she is not dead, never mind thin.

Not judging btw (for any sensitive MNers out there - just in awe)

Marls001 · 18/05/2007 22:29

LOL.

whomovedmychocolate · 18/05/2007 22:31

Maybe she's still breastfeeding the lot of them to keep the weight off. The grandkids too!

Agree with cod on the rough tart thing too - but I was gonna use the c word (chav)

Rantmum · 18/05/2007 22:32

She must be on MN in that case!

LoveAngel · 18/05/2007 22:32

PMSL@Bf-ing grandkids.

Rantmum · 18/05/2007 22:35

Wasn't there an article about more that 2 children being environmentally irresponsible on MN a while ago - maybe she should offset her offsprings carbon emissions...

whomovedmychocolate · 19/05/2007 13:37

LoveAngel - well clearly, she's not using much else for contraception!

expatinscotland · 20/05/2007 20:53

I agree, Fio. That's why I think at the root of it is .

Good for her!

I think she looks GREAT. I really do. I think she looks better than a lot of poncey cows I see around here.

She seems like a nice person. Someone I wouldn't mind meeting.

The only thing i find offensive is her taste in wallpaper.

mommajools · 20/05/2007 21:20

rough, ugly, chav, minger - just a few of the nasty comments - this is mumsnet at its worst. What gives you all the right to judge her looks, her way of life, her kids names? What if she is a mumsnetter? you should all be ashamed of yourselves. If your child came home from school and spoke about another child in this way would that be alright?

countrylass · 20/05/2007 21:43

agree expatinscotland and mammajools....

I cannot believe the utterly bitchy comments on this thread. Ok, so there is lots to talk about within this article but why do so many of you feel that it's ok to slag off what she's wearing, the names of her kids, the appearance of her kids, her supposed lifestyle (which we actually know FA about) and so on............

It's one of two things I think - ignorance and jealousy that some of us in life have nice figures and look good in size 6 or 8 clothes. I wear size 8 jeans after children and have a 35, 25, 35 figure. Feel free to slate me on every aspect of my life.
