I could weep - I've only had two and I didn't even look like that before I got pregnant!

ripax · 17/05/2007 15:45

what? hatrick? we can't say 'we' feel she looks like she's been hit with two short planks? hit every branch on the way down the ugly tree, the midwaife slapped her nother when she was born?

I btw have neer professed to be nice.

PeachyChocolateEClair · 17/05/2007 15:46

I came out of hospital after ds1 a size s,aller than pre-pg!!

ah the benefits of excess vomiting

an was that thin after 16, combination of over active thyroid, being on her feet 24 / 7 and unable to afford to feed hersself.

But I am sure the figure was more important than the drugery illness and deprivation

ripax · 17/05/2007 15:46

"Cortisol is a corticosteroid hormone produced by the adrenal cortex that is involved in the response to stress; it increases blood pressure, blood sugar levels, may cause infertility in women, and suppresses the immune system. In pharmacology, cortisol is referred to as hydrocortisone, and is used to treat allergies and inflammation. When first introduced as a treatment for rheumatoid arthritis, it was referred to as Compound E."

so you think i am stressed?

ripax · 17/05/2007 16:04

i'm just saying god doesn't give with two hands

TheDuchessOfNorksBride · 17/05/2007 16:37

Amazing amount of children. They look like an awesome team.

But I wouldn't want to be in their house when puberty and her menopause all happen at once

And consider the possibilities of 11 synchronised PMTs....

Twinmummyx2 · 18/05/2007 10:12

Haven't read article yet but if it is the woman from Guernsey she won the local lottery at one time and had a boob job!

Twinmummyx2 · 18/05/2007 10:16

Yes it is the woman, there was a thing going on about her a while back on the channel island evening news-not about her weight though.

Very high cost of living here in the channel islands. So the lottery win would have been a big help to them.

And to the comment about kids not getting enough attention, mine do,you make time.

kittypants · 18/05/2007 10:29

i still dont get why people are being mean?amount of children or weight?
as twinmummyx2 said you make time(i only have 3 but friends with 1 think mine dont get enough one to one-they do were just more organised at it)
also im size 0-6,my weight has nothing to do with my parenting.
btw though if shes 5' 2 " and 7stone 3.i dont think shes size zero.im same height and 6 stone 10.so shes more like 6-8

zizou · 18/05/2007 10:33

Why would anyone have 13 children?

juuule · 18/05/2007 10:40

"Why would anyone have 13 children?"

Why not?
Why does anyone have children?

Twinmummyx2 · 18/05/2007 10:40

Thats up to them isn't it?
From what i saw of their documentary all the children were very well behaved, lovely manners, had respect for each other.

And from my own experinces having a lot of children isn't a nightmare (dunno about teenage years tho!) Mine are all intelligent, starting their GCSE's a year early, are very patient, have huge circle of friends.

Some parents find having more than 2 or 3 children no big deal. Some can cope, some probably wouldn't.
