I'm speechless about this

Even if he got the hardest sentence, I still think in most of the cases, sentences are just a joke compared to the physical and psycological damage they had inflicted in a little life. And are definitively not enough to protect our children from further crimes

OMG How horrific..

Twinkie · 24/06/2004 11:21

I think he should have been shot, mind you hopefully he will get some sort of punsihment in prison fron the other inmates.

I know it is often family members that abuse children but I would never let a man who was not a family member look after any of my children -does that sound stupid - it just amazes me that these people let these men (and I know they don;t know that they are paedophiles) look after their children?

Apparently castration does not get rid of their urges though and they also live longer without testicles!!

Angeliz · 24/06/2004 11:25

AERGH Sick F*!

Hope he gets all anybody could wish for him- very slowly and painfully!

gscrym · 24/06/2004 11:27

A small mercy in this is that hopefully the baby won't remember what ordeal it has been through. The parents on the other hand will never forget and probably punish themselves forever.
There is no sentence long enough or harsh enough for this sort of dispicable behaviour and I firmly believe that sex offenders are never re-habilitated. All anyone can hope for is that this monster gets a good dose of prison justice.

Twinkie, I really hope that he gets an extra punishment from fellow inmates, though wouldn't be surprised if he manages to build a network while in prison.
I also suspect he was family, most of sexual abuse comes from family/people well know to the family, not from strangers...

As Twigglet, I believe that in cases as extreeme as this they should be castrated.

He is a vile, twisted, horrible man. Prison is too good for him, but I hope whilst there he gets what he deserves.

Chandra · 24/06/2004 12:00

Beetroot, I really feel for you, and you don't know how much I understand what your family is going through. Similar experience here, baby sitter 12, child affected 3. If you want to talk about it please contact me through contact another talker. [hugs]

Bloody hell Beetroot, did the police do nothing?

Chandra · 24/06/2004 12:19

Mean bean, I wouldn't be surprised tbh, here in my city teenagers beat old pensioners and because they are underage just receive a warning (a warning to nothing as police themselves are not permited to arrest under age kids!!!)

sweetkitty · 24/06/2004 13:06

I couldn't even get my head round this one it is so evil and disgusting, shooting would be too quick for him. What happens when he gets out in 19 years though, will he be free to do it again?

How awful beetroot - I hope your poor dd does not remember it. I can't believe the Police/SS can't do anything else - it's criminal literally
