No idea. Haerd this morning that the girlfriend admitted to having a 'relationship' with another guy whilst living in Oz with Peter.

lou33 · 27/05/2004 09:36

I didn't realise there were any. It's been reported on sky news today.

Piffleoffagus · 27/05/2004 10:46

judge dismissed most of it as irrelevant questioning but said he may come back to it if it proved pertinent.
Not sure about the restrictions, as Murdoch has had another sentence recently it may be extra prudent to restrict so as not to jeopardise the case, he got off the last one on a technicality...

serenequeen · 27/05/2004 10:48

she has had such a hard time about this case, poor woman. the press at the time practically accused her of doing away with him and now this other relationship is being dragged out.

CODalmighty · 27/05/2004 11:46

I wonder if it is relevenat though - an d her 50 k deal woth granda - how can people do this - girls if I die dont do it!lol

would this be termed my " secret account"? lol

Haven't noticed any restrictions. All talked about on R4 this morning, her other relationship etc. I'm sure on all the TV cases I've seen other relationships etc would not be admissable! Its not the actual trial either, its a commital hearing BEFORE the trial, good god, how long is the whole thing going to take?

Piffleoffagus · 27/05/2004 15:56

her deal with GRanada is of aparently it has been reported, she has admitted to sexual encounter but says she would term it a relationship or an affair... How it is relevent I do not know unless it is to prove motive for someone else...
It is turning into a bit of a circus ho hum

This is going on for ages poor woman . We drove round Australia as part of our trip 4 weeks after this happened and everyone told us 'ooooh watch out, its full of weirdos the outback' but the only annoying things we came across were competitive travellers 'you haven't lived till you've done nepal' etc.

She did come across very cold in the press there at the time though, but how do you know how you will react when somehting like this happens?

I know I sound really uncharitable but I think there is something odd about her (apart from the fact that she still has the same hair do) - just something about her that I don't trust!!

I think every barrister tries to discredit witnesses - x2bs did to DP and I when we went to court - I think its a case of if they can prove you are of questionable chatacter or have told one untruth you cannot be trusted on anything else!!!

I also pointed out Ian Huntley before he was arrested and the Billy Jo Jenkins dad!!!

suzywong · 28/05/2004 14:04

Isn't the part about her gettingher bound hounds from behind her body to ther front of her body the oddest thing?
I saw a tv documetnary and a trained ballet dancer couldn't even perform that trick
Hmmmm

Yep - just thought he looked a bit weird and shifty!!

Tinker · 28/05/2004 16:40

Isn't the Billie Jo Jenkins case going to appeal? Lot of holes in it, apparently.

I do feel sorry for her. Imagine you must be cacking yourself knowing that despite being the grieving girlfriend, it is only a matter of time before your 'affair' becomes public.

Piffleoffagus · 28/05/2004 16:44

I can step over my bound hands... do not ask how I found that out....
I was the subject of a court discredit attempt not going into it here though
bastards
