but nothing to do with your hands trick?

suzywong · 28/05/2004 16:52

Can you really Piff?

Ok so that can be done, but the bit about the dog not being able to sniff her out is a quite incredible.

Soozi · 01/06/2004 22:24

I can get my bound hands to the front too but I'm double jointed and can dislocate my shoulder at will. Always handy in any potential kidnap situation :0

Janh · 01/06/2004 22:28

So is the implication that she had another boyfriend and they killed the Falconio chap between them?

Why, FFS? She couldn't just have dumped him?

Janh · 01/06/2004 22:29

And as far as coming across "cold" is concerned, what about the woman whose baby was taken by dingos?

Aus is a bit funny about women, no?

Tinker · 01/06/2004 22:35

The legal system doesn't like women who have slept with more than one man it would seem. You must be untrustworthy.

morocco · 01/06/2004 23:22

and the press don't like women who don't do all the sobbing and 'poor little me' stuff in front of the cameras - they've had the knives out for her since the beginning when she was so uncooperative with them, making the most of all this now aren't they?

Fio2 · 02/06/2004 07:14

it is such a weird case isnt it? They never found his body did they? It seems to be taking a long time to come to trial. I could never get my bound hands to the front my arse is to big, do you have to have a small petite bottom to do this?

Janh · 02/06/2004 10:16

He tried to tie her feet too but she fought so much he couldn't and gave up - presumably she also fought when he was tying her hands and and he couldn't do it very tightly?

Piffleoffagus · 02/06/2004 10:36

the documentary done last year showed an aussie police woman stepping over her bound hands too, that was one of the main reasons she was starting to be believed.
Pretty sure she is unable to be considered a suspect really, surely they would have sussed it.
And as for Lindy Chamberlain and the dingo and Azaria getting attacked
aaarrghhhh, meryl streep put me off that case for life.
Unfaithful women are obviously prone to having boyfriends mysteriously vanish?
what sort of legal defence is that then.
I hate the judicial process, it has f*ed me more times than assisted me...

codswallop · 02/06/2004 10:54

it says nt he paper that the tape used to tie her isnt actually long enough

even if she DID have something to do with it where IS the body as Fio says

Tinker · 02/06/2004 11:03

Who else has tried to get their hands from behind their back - just been wriggling on the bed trying.

codswallop · 02/06/2004 11:05

lol

Janh · 02/06/2004 11:07

My arms appear to be too short.

Maybe she has v long arms?

Tinker · 02/06/2004 11:08

Long arms and a very tiny bum. Sure it could be done but I'm quite bendy and I can't do it

Janh · 02/06/2004 11:11

Mind you there isn't a fearsome man putting the frighteners on you, Tink - might make you a bit bendier!

Tinker · 02/06/2004 11:14

But you still have to do it quietly though.

MeanBean · 02/06/2004 15:23

She demonstrated to the police how she'd done it at the time - at no time has she ever been a suspect as far as the oz police were concerned. They were reported as being slightly bewildered by the way the British media reported it at the time - don't know how the oz media did perhaps someone else does?
