Cannot for the life of me find a link to it on the net, but will post as soon as i do!

It mentions the Pirate sex thread as if it was a serious thread....

No mention of Fanjo though!!!

Thanks kelly...you're a star!!

FrannyandZooey · 02/10/2006 09:05

I am in the cafe of a hotel logging in to see what people were saying about the article

I had no idea people didn't know what my name meant

thought the article was quite good, very positive about the site

I have loads of gossip especially about NQC'S FABBO HOUSE

oops sorry and her dh is gorgeous as well

FrannyandZooey · 02/10/2006 09:06

ps Greeny is sitting on the pc next to mine and our dps are being quite rude about our little 'addiction'

Greensleeves · 02/10/2006 09:08

This fame lark has really gone to her head you know, she has been unbearable since yesterday

Judy1234 · 02/10/2006 09:23

I read it last night in bed, in the Stella magazine bit which I always enjoy.
Good comment about some mothers not coming on until after 6 like their mothers deciding not to have the first G&T until after 6pm.

NotQuiteCockney · 02/10/2006 10:14

I actually live in a small rat-infested shed. Don't believe anything else Franny says. She never even did the eyeball challenge!

(I am slightly ruined from last night, sadly, and eating leftover bread and butter pudding.)

joelallie · 02/10/2006 11:15

"a fascinating insight into the life of the British middle-class mummy."

Well at least that puts a stop to that discussion then. We're all middle-class.... apparently.

joelallie · 02/10/2006 11:17

And bugger I'll have to think up a more literary name....

EmmyLou · 02/10/2006 11:37

joelallie - we do sound rather like Country and Western singers adrift in a sea of literary quinoa eating yummy mummie...

harpsichordcarrier · 02/10/2006 11:47

I think my name is pretty bloody kulchered too

harpsichordcarrier · 02/10/2006 11:48

pmsl at Emmylou and joelallie being C&W singers....

where's Billy-bob

Orlando · 02/10/2006 11:57

Like to think that Orlando wasn't mentioned as it's just too highbrow a literary reference...

joelallie · 02/10/2006 12:25

Orlando the marmalade cat?

'S'OK I know what it really refers too.....I'm kulchered me.

I don't have the norks to be a c&w singer. Nor the voice for that matter.... Maybe I'll have to be reborn as something else.

Orlando · 02/10/2006 12:37

If not norks or voice you could at least have the boots. Are cowboy boots still in this year?

joelallie · 02/10/2006 12:41

Don't have them either. Will wellies do?

Orlando · 02/10/2006 12:43

Hmmm. Yes, at a pinch. Do you remember The Worzels?

NomDePlume · 02/10/2006 12:45

[boast]

My Boden Sassy jeans query is in the article

[/boast]

joelallie · 02/10/2006 12:49

Yeah! I do. They come from round here . Shall I just run with the straw in the hair and string round the trousers idea then?

Orlando · 02/10/2006 12:52

Okay. But maybe to add a special mumsnet twist you should make sure the trousers are Boden sassy jeans. (If NDP says they're alright-- what did the thread conclude?)

ShinyHappyPeopleHoldingHands · 02/10/2006 12:52

Ms March won't come to a meet-up in case other Mners remember that she digs dirty kecks out of the wash basket... but she tells the whole country via a national newspaper that she does the aforementioned... under her real name? I think not...!!!

ShinyHappyPeopleHoldingHands · 02/10/2006 12:56

".... straps babies to rockets and fires them into southern lebanon"

Oh PMSL-and-buy-me-some-Tenalady...!!! I missed that comment orignally!! ! That's hilarious!

And what's so baffling about such basic acronyms as DH, DS etc..??! All the forums use them....!

(But I liked the article over all.. and the fact that I can lump myself in with all those middle class high income mums.. when I'm actually "working class but benefit claiming [currently] only high-school ecucated scum")

NomDePlume · 02/10/2006 12:57

I think the general concensus was that the jeans are ok but nothing special.

Orlando · 02/10/2006 12:59

Perfect for joelallie's Worzel vibe then. Thank you.

Prufrock · 02/10/2006 13:00

OMG I'm famous . But can I just state that whilst I know theoretically how to get 6 wears out of a G-string, I have never actually done it.

ShinyHappyPeopleHoldingHands · 02/10/2006 13:05

I demand to know exactly how.. and to avoid being minging! The string can only go up your bum crack can't it????

[sorry for crudity]
