JoBenet Ramsey - arrest made

Anyone remember the horrific story of a little girl found murdered in the basement of her home. She was one of those little beauty queens here in the USA. Well amazingly enough an arrest has been made in Thailand. Will the truth ever come out, who knows, but there's a collective sigh of relief here in Boulder, Colorado that finally there can be closure for this little girl BBC Headline

I heard this on the radio when I woke up this morning ( Aus time) Hopefully there will be some closure for the family.

Finally - I hope they have the right person and that he goes down for a long time. So that her mother didn't live to see an arrest.

I remember reading about it when it happened. Really sad that her mum passed away without finding out the truth.

Her Mum died of cancer a couple of months ago - the good thing was she knew that an arrest wsas imminent so went to her grave knowing that the world would stop pointing the finger like they did at the time...

I was living in Boulder at the time this case broke.

You'd be hard pressed to find an 'investigation' that had been more cocked up.

The Ramseys were literally run out of town w/not a shred of evidence against them.

Mr Ramsey had a daughter and a son from his first marriage. His first daughter died in a car accident in her early 20s. Then he lost JonBenet.

And now his wife.

Hope he can find some peace at last.

I think Boulder Police owe Mr Ramsey a BIG, public apology.

And his son, who suffered harrassment at school b/c of this.

Imagine how her parents felt, knowing this happened to their child in her OWN home!

Even now, Mr Ramsey always had this utterly heartbroken look about him.

apparently today there are reports saying his confession may be dodgy and it may just be a case of attention seeking in its worst form.

From what i've read he was obsessed with the case, they've found loads of press clippings and videos all relating to the case, think he is just a sick sick fantasist
