incidentally it is the families more than anyone who don't believe we have been told the truth and want pressure applied to get the truth. or perhaps you know better than them what they feel and need and want too?

DieselSpillage · 26/03/2014 18:45

And so another day draws to a close and still no tangible proof...

If I had a relative on that plane I would be shouting my head off on every forum going trying to uncover this cover up...

TheHoneyBadger · 26/03/2014 18:46

did everyone see this news?

DieselSpillage · 26/03/2014 18:58

yes but Honey didn't you see that it's been found... it just happens, unfortunately, to be in the most inaccessible place in the world.

Still we have a few grainy satelite images of nothing identifiable, so lets leave those poor families to grieve in peace and put this subject to rest Confused

newfavouritething · 26/03/2014 19:15

But I didn't think that it had been found? Is it definitely plane wreckage that has been spotted? Or could it still be general debris? Has any actual piece of that particular plane been found?

jamtoast12 · 26/03/2014 19:22

No debris has been linked to plane yet. I agree with others, these conspiracies are getting out of hand.

DieselSpillage · 26/03/2014 19:22

That's right favourite absolutely nothing has been found so far ... I was just being facetious as the smug alert on top of my tin hat was flashing.

GarlicMarchHare · 26/03/2014 19:27

Something's been found, Diesel, but what? How did it get there? There's so much conflicting information, so many leads inexplicably dismissed; even posts being deleted from expert forums as 'sensitive information'. If this were some military manoeuvre I'd be worried and concerned - but the fact that the story involves only civilian victims makes it feel all the more grotesque somehow.

Since you've chosen to attack 'conspiracy theorists', nauticant and wanna, I may as well offer my opinion that failing to question the questionable is short-sighted if not downright foolish. It's my personal view, though: I wouldn't be so rude as to try and shut down others' conversations if they don't suit me.

GarlicMarchHare · 26/03/2014 19:29

Sorry, Diesel, I was still smarting from the previous posts Blush

GarlicMarchHare · 26/03/2014 19:32

Google's showing me an ad about Flat Head Syndrome on this page! Must be the tin hats Wink

allisgood1 · 26/03/2014 19:35

I don't think the debris was planted. I think that plane is where they say it is. What I want to know is how it got there.

Burmahere · 26/03/2014 19:45

Why on earth should the threads be deleted? They have been for the most part measured and considerate, there have been five of them and 40 pages each and mostly they have been sensible and respectful. I know some people have gone a bit off piste but definitely not the majority, I cannot see for the life of me why any of it should be reported or deleted.

This is one of the most frightening and sobering things that has happened for a long time and you can't stop people from worrying and questioning what has gone on. Surely an anonymous forum is the most obvious place for that?

TheDoctrineOfSnatch · 26/03/2014 20:05

The relatives are filing lawsuits against Boeing and Malaysian Airlines.

funnyperson · 26/03/2014 20:06

What burmahere said. Over 200 innocent lives lost without a clear explanation as to how and they could have been any one of us.

member · 26/03/2014 20:06

I don't think they should be deleted ; in fact I think moving them to a thread that lasts more than 90 days would be useful given how long it's likely to take recovery & investigation. I'd suggest In The News

GarlicMarchHare · 26/03/2014 20:08

My guess remains as it was almost from the outset - that this was an intended highjacking which went wrong and ended up in the plane crashing somewhere into the ocean.

You said this twice last Monday. This looks a likely theory to me, too. The next day, you made your famous Hmm comment about posters using the event as entertainment, and have maintained a 'thou shalt not speculate' stance ever since.

Has something made you lose interest in how/why/what happened to MH370?

BeyondTheLimitsOfAcceptability · 26/03/2014 20:18

Agree with that member - whoever starts thread 6 should do it in "in the news". Ironically now it is less in the news than during the first five.

BeyondTheLimitsOfAcceptability · 26/03/2014 20:19

Oops, missed an 'and'

Burmahere · 26/03/2014 20:29

Goldie should be back tonight by my reckoning!

TheHoneyBadger · 26/03/2014 20:43

hadn't clicked that this is in 'chat' and will therefore be lost - the first thread will be gone fairly soon. should we ask for them to be moved do you think?

DieselSpillage · 26/03/2014 20:53

It seems symbolic, or perhaps, ironic that these threads will just disappear.

wannaBe · 26/03/2014 21:11

there is a vast difference between thinking it could have been a highjacking/pilot suicide and hypothesising that it could have been a syber attack/terrorism and that every government in the world is somehow involved in a mass world cover up. And clinging to every piece of news, spending hours and hours looking at news stories/posting about it on threads and equating every incident that might involve a plane with this one...

Wrt the wreckage not having been discovered yet, what people are forgetting is that essentially they've gone back to square1. When a plane goes down it usually takes a few days at the very least to find some wreckage if it's gone down in the sea, well it was only confirmed on Monday that this is more or less where the plane is believed to have gone down. Therefore, they've only actually been looking in that area for three days... for wreckage that could have been there for over two weeks and has had ample time to disburse/sink.

trixymalixy · 26/03/2014 21:16

Oh dear me, have I wandered onto the David Icke forum by mistake?!?!?

Come back soon Goldie!!

Lambstales · 26/03/2014 21:36

If, the plane is in the Southern Ocean, it is very convenient, should something or someone want to be disappeared. There is so much rubbish floating around down there.

Also curious as to why the US aren't helping (or saying anything). Their sats scan every 15 min...and they have planes that can fly a lot longer than the Aussie ones.

Suspect it's not there ..... sorry :(

jamtoast12 · 26/03/2014 21:42

The us are helping? It's their black box detector that's on it's way?
