Breaking news is that Mr and Mrs Philpott have been arrested for the murder of their six children. I cannot believe this has happened. I pray that a mistake has been made. RIP children.

I see. If that was the plan it was bloody stupid. Still I have known people to
do stupid things. I remember a local news story of a family who started a fire for the insurance money. They didn't know that you must have an insurance policy in place in order to receive a payout.

Nancy66 · 31/05/2012 17:17

...but then the charge wouldn't be 'murder'

If someone were to plan to wreck their house in order to be re-homed in a larger property, might it not be a less risky plan to orchestrate a flood, rather than a fire?

Just sayin'...

PrettyPrinceofParties · 31/05/2012 18:23

On local news they said he blew a kiss and mouthed 'I love you' to someone in the gallery. Mistress maybe?

clam and when everyone was out.....

Olympia2012 · 31/05/2012 18:40

Percy because it's more likely. For 14 they would need 2 vacant properties knocked through.... For 8 then a 5 bed would be sufficient

And it's re-housed everyone, not re-homed. Animals get re homed.

Residency you mean? Well cafcass would likely have ruled no, due to the overcrowding issue. Was it supposed to be the first hearing or a subsequent one?

PercyFilth · 31/05/2012 19:59

The first, I think, not sure though. But people don't always think things through, do they.
