oh dear

OP posts:
harpsichordcarrier · 13/02/2006 18:56

I am perfectly prepared to concede that one partner in a relationship might be more suited to making certain decisions than another
e.g. my dh makesmost of the financial decisions
i am much better at thinking clerly in a crisis
what i really cannot fathom is why the posession of testicles and a penis should make one automatically better suited
pure nonsense, from any cursory examination, that men make better "team leaders" in every situation

HRHQueenOfQuotes · 13/02/2006 18:57

Greensleeves I've already posted about the 'submission' thing - and posted a link to a page that explains it better than I ever could. If you choose not read/don't want to understand it that's fine by me.

Enid - sex?? what's that LOL.

Greensleeves · 13/02/2006 18:58

I have read it QoQ. It's hogwash

HRHQueenOfQuotes · 13/02/2006 18:58

in other words you don't want to try and see where I'm coming from - that's fine with me (at least you've stopped being downright rude about it ).

Greensleeves · 13/02/2006 18:59

It's not where you're coming from that bothers me QoQ - it's the fact that you're still there

Now, about that question I asked you....

harpsichordcarrier · 13/02/2006 19:02

sex as in penetration? yes i suppose so
I did once have a very interesting conversation with a pastor of an evangelical church who told me women can't njoy sex because the true pleasure is in the penetration
i did try and explain about the multiple orgasm thing but i could tell he wasn't listening

ruty · 13/02/2006 19:08

oh dear you have to pity his wife HC...

Greensleeves · 13/02/2006 19:09

No, no, don't pity her, it's very fulfilling being some bloke's toilet...it's the least we can do as women!!

hercules · 13/02/2006 19:09

just like to say I bet the OP never imagined the different ways this thread would go!

I know, bless her
still she is fulfilled in her life through service to her husband and her church I expect and the absence of anything approaching a fulfilling sex life is a small price to pay

ruty · 13/02/2006 19:15

again totally off subject but i once knew an evangelical pastor's son who as a teenager had had to endure his father repeatedly 'exorcising'him of his homosexual demons. Talk about screwing up your son.

bosscat · 13/02/2006 19:27

I can't for the life of me work out what on earth QOQ is going on about.

she seems to be going on about how women are the weaker sex but then goes on about her and her dh discuss everything equally. I can't see the point of anything she is saying. Seems a lot of waffle about nothing.

Greensleeves · 13/02/2006 19:34

Convoluted self-contradictory eyewash

beartime said some crazy stuff about women and it turned ......

Greensleeves · 13/02/2006 19:36

Some other oddball made the mistake of bringing the Bible into it - ie women should be at home anyway because their role is to help their men blahdi blah... and hey presto, like a tramp to a kipper...QoQ appeared!!

HRHQueenOfQuotes · 13/02/2006 19:37

I basically said that I subscribe to what it says in the bible about women submitting to their husbands. Most people thought I meant that I bow to his every wish and command (which is how many nonbelievers like to intrepret that passage in the bible) I merely pointed out that it simply means that DH is the 'head' of the household but that we still sit down adn discuss things and comes to agreements together. Where (in extremely rare circumstances) a 'decision' can't be made - he makes it,.

bosscat · 13/02/2006 19:37

greensleeves, did she ever tell you why she said she was a lesbian? 10/10 for your attempt to get her to!

Enid · 13/02/2006 19:37

is qofQ a lezza?

dish please

hercules · 13/02/2006 19:37

I am rather concerned at the number of women who are posting here when instead they could be giving their husbands a foot massage.
