Hello there.
I understand from this Daily Mail story that Mumsnet is unhappy with the broadcasting of the "Babe Shows": www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2112121/Parents-anger-Freeview-porn-children-access-unchecked-prompts-Ofcom-complaint.html

I represent the viewers and channels associated with this late night fun and I am here to answer any questions & concerns that you may have.

Thanks.

chub I'm a shortbread lover. I do have fond memories of being on the isle (?) of Oban in Scotland, there's a little shop that sells these moreish mint chocolates. The only downside is that they played the same song over and over. I'll never forget it "Islands of beaauutyy". Then my mum buys the tape (twas in the days of tape) so we got to hear it all over again, at home. Marvellous.

The stream of consciousness thing puts me in mind if Virginia Woolf, scottish34.

Not.

solidgoldbrass · 09/03/2012 22:25

Oi, OP, which of the channels do you work for? If it's TVX I might know you. Were you one of my Green Room Muppets for Night Calls?

ScottishBloke · 09/03/2012 22:25

Scottish34:

Calm down dear, as posted yesterday:

There is your problem. You believed something you read in the Daily Mail. You really shouldn't.

Why don't you go and get a beer and a Tunnocks teacake and report back to your forum that there really is nothing to worry about. MN is not going to close your channel.

#"

You are feeding on your own hysteria. Mumsnet have no issue with Babestation. It is just lazy Daily Mail journalism whipping people like you into a frenzy.

Have a Tunnocks teacake and a nice warm glass of Iron Bru and... BREATH. (DEEP BREATH) Breath...

cybbo · 09/03/2012 22:29

I know, why not have Babestation on around the clock? We can still block it with our 3 digit security code

It should be an opt out system, and it should be on ALL THE LIVELONG DAY

There are not enough boobs and G strings on my telly

I WANT MORE I TELL YOU MORRRE

SleepyFergus · 09/03/2012 22:29

Imposter! Any real Scot knows it's IRN Bru, not Iron Bru. Tut!

MmeLindor. · 09/03/2012 22:29

oh, this is the thread that just keeps on giving.

Scottishblokes (both of you, the REAL one and the imposter) - we don't really give a shit. Or I don't. Maybe someone else does.

tribpot · 09/03/2012 22:30

Can we please censor your inappropriate use of apostrophes?

I have no idea if anyone here is campaigning against your high quality TV channel but part of democracy is dealing with citizens having differences of opinions and campaigning accordingly. Even women. Shocking innit?!

MmeLindor. · 09/03/2012 22:32

Oh, well spotted, SleepyFergus.

Iron Bru. FFS. What kind of a Scot is that supposed to be.

Do you think the 'blokes' might have fucked off now? I mean it's 10.34pm and they've missed 34 minutes of poorly fake tanned, razor stubble wobbling flesh, mouthing "call me"...

OliviaMumsnet · 09/03/2012 22:35

I am trying to decide how to describe it, Val. The nearest I can get is crumbly fudge.

It is utterly delish.

LeBOF · 09/03/2012 22:38

It's a bit like fudge, but not so fudgey, more sugary.

here - did we steal it from the French Canadians, or they from us?

Valpollicella · 09/03/2012 22:39

Mmmm. Sounds good. I will source some and hide it from DS.

PurplePidjin · 09/03/2012 22:40

Really, Olivia? I thought the mythical creature that swelled under Scottish bridges was Nessie Hmm

MmeLindor. · 09/03/2012 22:41

I have to ration it carefully. My brother keeps bringing me some to try cause he is experimenting with different recipes.

Anyway, where have our Scottishblokes got to? And has Olivia drunk all the Irn Bru?
