I'm so bloody star struck it's ridiculous, but I'm fascinated :o

He's just referred to a conversation he'd had with one of the lawyers earlier as being "back stage". Bless him, he's such a luvvie!

Just me then?

It's quite an eye opener. Apparently he's only given 2 interviews to British newspapers in the past 17 years. The rest were either bought in from foreign publications or completely made up Shock

He looks spookily like Gryff Rhys Jones Confused

allhailtheaubergine · 21/11/2011 16:00

I am. Well, dh just turned it on.

I rather like Hugh Grant, I think.

chipstick10 · 21/11/2011 16:04

Im undecided on how i feel about him

Alibabaandthe80nappies · 21/11/2011 16:09

I rather like him too.

I watched the first 45 minutes or so earlier, and found the attitude of the QC really bizarre.

allhailtheaubergine · 21/11/2011 16:15

Is the QC the beardy glasses chap? He's weird. He seems board. And louche.

allhailtheaubergine · 21/11/2011 16:15

Bored. Hmm

saggarmakersbottomknocker · 21/11/2011 16:17

The barrister bloke is really pissing me off TBH. If I was Hugh I'd be telling him to take his hand away from his mouth, stand up straight and speak more clearly.

headfairy · 21/11/2011 16:18

crazynanna now you mention it, he does doesn't he?

Agree that barrister just looks slovenly, stand up straight man!

OP posts:
crazynanna · 21/11/2011 16:18

I think the QC is trying to be cool in the presence of coolness Wink

KurriKurri · 21/11/2011 16:19

I'm warming to him. he seems to have spent the first forty or so years of his life being a bit of a twerp, but now he's grown up into quite a nice man. He's coming across well, - very articulate and informed.

KurriKurri · 21/11/2011 16:20

I agree about the 'cool' barrister crazynanna Grin

mycatsaysach · 21/11/2011 16:21

how he is now seems at complete odds to the whole divine brown incident

crazynanna · 21/11/2011 16:22
Grin

I loved his line "You slag! I want your milk!"

Alibabaandthe80nappies · 21/11/2011 16:22

And the pretty lawyer woman sat behind the barrister is going to cringe when she sees the coverage because she looks totally starstruck Grin

crazynanna · 21/11/2011 16:24

I know...she's literally draping herself over her chair Grin

headfairy · 21/11/2011 16:31

Kurri he does come across as quite intelligent and well spoken doesn't he

OP posts:
KurriKurri · 21/11/2011 16:36

Yes he does headfairy, I was sad when his evidence finished impressed Grin

MincePieFlavouredVoidka · 21/11/2011 16:37

I didnt realise his full name was Hugh John Mungo Grant.

I thought all the bumbling and stuttering was just an act, but thats actually how he is.

headfairy · 21/11/2011 16:40

Mincepie he's proper posh... the naice accent isn't fake

OP posts:
MincePieFlavouredVoidka · 21/11/2011 16:45

Sorry, I meant the HG you see in films, all foppish and posh was an act, but I realise having seen him now that it isnt.

It makes me very happy because now the HG I drool over in films is actually real :o

headfairy · 21/11/2011 17:43

I knew what you meant... :o No act, proper posh. I bet he's got some yellow cords somewhere, and a dark green padded jacket

OP posts:
ssd · 21/11/2011 17:45

noddyholder · 21/11/2011 17:46

MincePieFlavouredVoidka · 21/11/2011 17:47
