Yes, TMB, I was thinking about that too. Obv not a legal expert here but questions about police bribery will directly be related to the charges shes been arrested for and she wouldn't have to answer them?

Yes. Make an appointment to arrest someone after it becomes apparent that they are going to appear before a common's committee, but before the date that they are due to appear...

I had no idea that you could make appointments to be arrested:
'Sorry officer, its not convenient today, please can you come back next Sunday afternoon'.
Perhaps she had a really important hairdresser appointment to attend yesterday.

I am amazed at how this is all playing out.

They had an appointment to interview her, not arrest her.

The Guardian is reporting that arresting someone by appointment on a Sunday is unusual. Quite.
