Well, we're obviously in the wrong place MmeLindt. Thank goodness Toby has come along to enlighten us.

NotShortImFunSized · 17/03/2011 14:36

Ahhh Toby, Toby, Toby, you really haven't been hanging around here enough have you.

So judging from his description then I am one of the very few who haven't been to uni, definitely not upper-middle class, not yet 30, have 5 kids, live outside of London, shops at Asda, can't stand Green & Blacks and have never met anyone who would even admit to going out with Ed Miliband. Oh and I don't need to wriggle to fit into skinny jeans Wink

I'm only 3 out of 15...

Not sure if that means that TY is a sexist, stereotyping waste of webspace, or that I am on MN under false-pretences Sad.

GabbyLoggon · 17/03/2011 14:51

Blobby deserved the sick

I dont like Toby Young.

Toby...or not Toby...that is the question.

MrsKwazii · 17/03/2011 14:51

Oh no, TY is indisputably and categorically correct. He must be, he's so sure of himself, and what would we women know anyway Grin

swindon, eh?
i do think the idea that we are all floating voters is just bonkersly patronising. do the political parties think the top gear forumites are floaters just because they have a shared interest in jeremy clarkson?

SecretNutellaFix · 17/03/2011 14:55

What a dick. And how insulting to generalise about a million members.

AitchTech · 17/03/2011 14:59

but he is a dick, though, a well-known one. mn hasn't even been in the news recently, so the whole article smacks of 'what the FUCK can i talk about now to cause a stooshie and make the ed think i'm a controversialist?'

i'm rather surprised they published it, you would think it would have gone on the spike until something related to MN is in the media again.

forget the checklist, it's not relevant. comments are a bit bleeeeeergh though. but then most people are informed about mn by the media, i suppose, and therein lies the problem, tobes.
