Lenient sentence for baby rapist

I have a daughter who is 14 months old and the following has upset me so much. I happened to see the headline of The Sun newspaper on Saturday and what I read has distressed me so much. It was about a man who raped a 13 month old baby girl. The sentence he got is only 5 years of which they say he'll probably only serve 2 years. I am absolutely appalled and shocked that somebody so unbelievably evil will be back on our streets in such a short time (even 5 years is too short, let alone 2!!!). The Sun have a petition which you can sign and send off for the 'sacking' of the judge who handed out such a lenient sentence which I urge all of you to sign and send off. Unfortunately, it is up to the Crown Prosecution to apply for a longer sentence - I don't know that a petition would help in getting his sentence lengthened. Any one with a bit of legal background who can help? If a petition would help, then I suggest we get going and make sure people like this cannot walk our streets again. Here's my thought. Just the same as i'd like to rob a bank or put a bullet in a paedo's head, it doesn't make me a bank robber or a murderer until I act upon my impulses and if I do, I have to deal with the consecquences and pay the price. I would never do anything of the sort, because I know it's wrong. The only people we want locked up or vaporised (beheaded, castrated,shot, stabbed, tortured) are the peados who do view child porn and abuse our kids. Does that make sense?

I have always felt anything in this nature should get a life sentence,and as a life sentence dosnt actually mean life then release should be only if the peadophile consents to chemical castration! also a tatoo on a part of the body,say top of leg or arm,then swimming with kids who are almost naked would be out of the question,and therefore not put kids at risk and peados tempted!and in normal day to day life can be covered even by a short sleeved teeshirt.this would also be a warning to those sneakyy blokes who worm their way into vunerable womens lives just to molest the kiddies,
