Should they be banned from burning the Koran, or is it a legitimate protest?

Not sure what to think..... hateful racists obviously but perhaps they have the right to protest?

i have a deep hate of any book burnings.
so think it should be banned for that reason alone.
I do hope the knock on affect of this is not the death of a soldier

Bloody stupid. It isn't a "warning to radical Muslims", it's a sure-fire way of turning fairly moderate young Muslims into radicals, when they see people doing something so deliberately chosen to cause offence.

It's some stupid preacher at a church with a congregation of about 50, the best thing would have been to ignore them but sadly it's too late for that.
Book burning, reminds me of the Nazis.

I don't see that burning what is viewed to be a holy book by millions of people (including myself) is a form of legitimate protest - it achieves nothing and just illustrates what a bunch of racist bigots they all are

While I agree that they should have the right to a peaceful protest, I can not see what they hope to achieve other then to cause more hate.

I am a Christian, I would not like it if some idiot started toasting marshmallows over a bonfire of Bibles.

While not being a follower of Islam, I feel it is a sick thing to do, to burn a book considered holy is wrong, even if you personally feel it is no more real then the beano, to burn a book considered holy by someone is just wrong, whether it is the Bible, Koran, Tora [sp] or a copy of the watch tower
