oh no poor husband OFM My theory about teeth is that they always flare up when everything else is tiring and stressful ie: just when you least want them to.
my dh okay, feeling grumpy, but reassured a bit by kind consultant. Regular reviews nec. but next not till Sept.

Poor MIL in Rome having to have her wrist rebroken/operated on again, so that is making dh feel worse. Children being v. v demanding at present, although we had lovely afternoon in garden. Their classes are being mixed up so we have had howls about lost friendship etc.
Reports good, esp mentions of their projects Ds1 doing verywell apparently and a good team member, excellent at history and music. I am so glad his teacher liked him, they didn't get off to a good start in Sept 2009 with several detentions.

morning all

MC yes I like running outside,I go with the dog!...still can only do 10 to 15 mins...but can get that bit further every time before I need to walk! You did really well on WW on-line, well done you!

swan poor MIL,and yes teeth do always seem to play up when you least want

well, I woke up at 5.30 with bad hay fever, then couldnt get back to sleep so got up at 6am and went running with the dog!! It was lovely actually, not too hot yet and peaceful. Plus no one around to witness my pathetic jogging except a few bunnies!

Came back feeling energised, have bathed dog and put her bedding in the wash and done her flea drops...(was all overdue!)

now about to drop DS1 to club

Was in a good mood, but now annoyed as attempted to find out from DH exactly when and for how long we were going to Ireland and he tells me he thought we would go on the Fri...but all DC are at school (turns out DH is off and thought everyone else was too...errr NO!)and that now the Mass for his Dad is on Sat not Sunday as he previously told me...
Going to Ireland is SUCH a frustration every time, he NEVER makes proper arragements, all last minute, impossible to organise anything else as hanging on waitiig for him to make us his mind....grrrr

right, rant over, now going to drop DS1 to club...BBL

MC, OFM, dyl very impressed with all your running/swimming! How fit!

swan shame they are mixing the classes up. DD is distraut as she has only just realised that she will be getting a different teacher!

Had another rushing around day buying shoes for work and holiday, swimming lesson and party. DS seems a bit tired and emotional now so hope he's not going to be poorly.

Done;

OverflowingMum · 11/07/2010 09:53

MC what gym are you a member of? cosidering joining a gym but not sure....looking for somewhere cheap LOL, though may just stick with running and swimming....would quite like to find a beginners aerobics class nearby though....

swanriver · 11/07/2010 16:20

OFM your jog sounds blissful LOL at non-sleeping bnnies! I keep having this vision I am going to jump out of bed at 6am and go for a swim in our swming pool at 7am. Somehow it never quite happens. 30 lengths Dyls v. impressed
OFM Maybe your dh i slike me, he thinks if he's over-organises something it's bad luck, and everything will go wrong I find it difficult to make proper holiday plans - I sort of have this idea everything willjust miraculously happen - then I go mental at last moment when it doesn't! I think it drives my poor dh mad. He is someone who loves packing bags and knowing what is going to happen next. I just throw things in grit my teeth andhope for the best - and usually survive Not always...cue panic attacks at Hemel Hempstead.

Well we have been on an unscheduled trip to Kew Gardens - for once there were picnic ingredients in fridge, so we were able to just GO in a matter of ten minutes after a brief argument about Church (I lost) He did repack the bags Very lovely there except I had a combination of mild hangover after neighbour's party last night, and still very bad cold. But it was truly lovely to wander around all the trees and beautiful plants.

dcs now in paddling pool, moderately good, playing with their Build-a-Bears from yest's outing. Dd's bear is a "Rock Star" - ds2's bear is a golfer! They are entranced - long may this last. Certainly less work than lego!

scattyspice · 11/07/2010 19:18

Sounds like a good weekend swan .

I am not looking forward to teen yrs with Ds either ofm.

Today:
ironing - done
laundry x2 - x3 (get me).
school letters - done
ds homework - done
go out somewhere very windy walk to lighthouse .

Ds has been to friends . DD seems to be loosing the art of amusing herself .

OverflowingMum · 11/07/2010 21:09

evening all

had pleasant afternoon.
nice swim, managed 20 legths, but not all together LOL , did 10 then 2 lots of 5 seperated by big breaks! still, everyday a little bit fitter...babysteps and all that!

DC all had brilliant time, havent been for a while with them all and they played brilliantly! Shame theyre stopping free swimming for kids next year...costs us a fortune to all go together LOL

Anyway...house a bit of a mess. Need it to be end of term NOW!

Am distracting myself from stress by knitting...am attempting a little Jean Greenhowe doll at dd's request...so far so good!

Still not got to bottom of holiday plans LOL
swan maybe we should swap DH's!! I haveto have everything organised to the last second, DH likes nothing planned in advance at all! Then again I think we sort of balance each other out....

scatty souds like a good day....sadly there always seems tobe atleast one of my DC that has forgotten how to amuse themselves...they take it in turns!

right...off for early night
