where has the week gone?????

Anyway...dd2 is recovering fine.Still has huge impressively bruised black eye. Am keeping her off till Monday.
I took in suitably steaming letter for head teacher today,as it proved impossible to get to see her without several accompanying small children...

Have done basically bare minmum all week really.
Had great hopes for the kitchen...sigh...may try and catch up tomorrow...

Slightly upsetas oven now appears to have died .... not great given that its dd2's bday next Tues and I need to make a cake
She did however look quite pleased at the prospect of a shop bought choc fudge cake instead

Ok...will attempt some forward planning for tomorrow

Buy present for dd3 friends bday party on Sat
Buy more dog food
buy couple of small bits for dd2 bday

not much to report today

Bare minimum sounds my sort of week OFM
might attempt to polish computer screen later

had a lovely afternoon grappling with garden for an hour between appts, so many other things I should have been doing but garden always ends up at bottom of list so very pleased.

Children not out cold till 9pm again, Dh and I are barely passing each other in corridor at this rate, although he came home early today at 6.20 I've tidied the kitchen again and sorted uniform laundry etc, and poof! that's the evening gone.

Hope WOLF you are not doing ANYTHING DULL, and just relaxing, and enjying that post-wedding discussion that is such a part of whole proceedings! Congratulations if you are lurking, hope you are not, and have better things to do.

Oh! Wolf yes Congratulations but I thought it's tomorrow! Good luck if it is or break a leg which ever you choose>(She won't be reading this will she!!!!!!)

I made some hairslides for EV's daughters for school, come and see here. I also have a folksy shop now too anything to make some money as we are desparate again!!

I saw my plastic surgeon today and guess whay Ruby I can have a tummy tuck when I lose somemore weight. How cool is that.

He said he can see that I am losing weight and is going to have a chat to my Gastric consultant about my tummy swelling and the anemia.

I need to have a iron of 13 or above for an operation, not that I am contenplating one in the next few years, but it is nice to know that all is well and I can have one when I want.

He said to just ring him or drop him a card, with thunderbirds are go on!

So got nothing done fly wise, but I am OK

It is my DD third birthday today so i am not doing the ordanary things

Clean up after breakfast ( we always have a cooked one so takes a bit longer to clean up)

Afternoonish-

Then before bedtime-

wipe down kitchen

Bt apart from that we have a fun day planned. Going to the park with a cake in hand to meet up with the local mums an tots.
Hopefully Dinner out (burger king maybe)

We are going to the beach for a BBQ on sunday so my DD can celabrate wit family so that will be her party really

Collect boys + extra 1 from school and then play for the afternoon with them.

I can confirm that TeaMonster's hairslides are lovely. And any little girls will love them for school. Did she mention she can do other colours? Red, blue, green - so they can match any gingham school uniform

Doesn't look like I was very productive yesterday but thats because I decided to sort fridge out and batch cook and freeze before things went out of date, then DD's friend came round and my plans went out of window. Have spent all morning today trying to fix phones which have died on me - only one working out of triple set - now looking like a trip to argos to get new ones.

The bobbin thread keeps catching. I am torn between hoping I can fix it, or seeing if i can pinch some of my savings to buy one of the fancy electronic ones i have been admiring for years! I should try and fix mine first

I finished my list and have made a decision with regards to the sewing machine, I bought a new one. it is not a computerised one, but it does do embroidery. Dc are at their dads tomorrow so I will test it out over the weekend and hopefully finish the dress I want to make.
