Yep. I'm knackered, went to bed at 5am and got up at 7, took kids to school. Am still glued to the TV

iamfabregasted · 07/05/2010 09:46

still in jammies watching coverage.

foureleven · 07/05/2010 09:47

Ha ha you lot make me laugh... sat on sofa in your jammies while the kids are at school - how exhausting

toccatanfudge · 07/05/2010 09:48

ahh hello -

I stayed up until 6. DS3 woke up at 6.10, got him back to sleep on the sofa (top and tailing with me) at 6.30 - alarm going off on snooze from 7.30 onwards

Have just made a strong coffee and shoved a put the washing machine on again (a forgotten load from yesterday morning )

Just sat down with coffee to see that we are officially well hung now

Seriousy though I am off to get showered and dressed and might then drag the hoover over the floors

toccatanfudge · 07/05/2010 09:50

lol at being officially well hung. And am not in my pyjamas

FiveOrangePips · 07/05/2010 09:51

up until 4 a.m, back up at 7.30 (alarm went off at 6.30), must not neglect the house today - but still quite gripped by the election.

toccatanfudge · 07/05/2010 09:53

I can't remember the last time I put my PJ's on before crashing to sleep

FOP - then you are on the right thread - gripped by the election, up all night, really not able to neglect house (or in my case children and church stuff as well).

Exogenesis · 07/05/2010 09:54

that should have said hung Parliament I'm so sleepy i can not spell today!

toccatanfudge · 07/05/2010 10:04

oh gosh first thing I need to do is ring DS1's school and beg ask them nicely if they would please let him have a swimming hat today and I'll send the £1 for it on Monday......looked in my purse and discovered I didn't have £1 in there to give him and he's upset that they're not allowed to swim this week (week 3 of swimming this term) if they haven't got their hat.

OP posts:
toccatanfudge · 07/05/2010 10:09

phew - swimming hat sorted - grovelled nicely and they'll give him the hat today and I'll send the money on Monday

Slept 2.30 - 5.30am, have had 3 cups of tea. Very hard work trying to explain it all to a very interested 11 year old DD this morning.

toccatanfudge · 07/05/2010 10:14

ok I'm out of clean mugs, clean bottles, clean tea spoons,..........think I need to get the dishwasher on......maybe I'll make that pot of coffee I considered making at 3am or whenver it was as well

Aha have found the knackered thread!

DD has gone to preschool, am glad i went to bed at midnightish and am sooo glad i did now as seats are still not all declared. I have loads to do today before 3. Should really stop the bbc live coverage marathon

toccatanfudge · 07/05/2010 10:34

hello littleducks - yes this is the knackered thread

OP posts:
omnimandles · 07/05/2010 10:35

yep I'll join - up til 3 and now at work...

toccatanfudge · 07/05/2010 10:37

yes work or home doesn't matter - if you're having to keep readjusting those matchsticks because you stayed up pretending you were a teenager that can still do all nighters and not suffer you're more than welcome.

OP posts:
littleducks · 07/05/2010 10:47

Nick Clegg saying it should be conservatives not a lib/lab coalition

now what will that mean

toccatanfudge · 07/05/2010 10:51

gawd knows littleducks.

Have emptied the kitchen bin and started unloading the dishwasher.......of stuff which finished at 7.30pm on Wednesday night

OP posts:
foureleven · 07/05/2010 11:01

Im under the impression we will have to wait for Gordon Brown to be (...cant think of word..?) Stood down (?) before David is invited to join with lib.

Im confused...?
