DD2s appointment was quite straightforward today. Just needed bloods done. We went shopping after it as I had DD3 booked into creche for the afternoon, was just heading into next when I got a call to say to collect her because she had headlice . Had to get the next bus home and she now has the treatment in her hair. Probably still have to pay for the half day as well

Have had dd's friend round all day which has been nice, has kept the tv off and stopped my two fighting anyway!

Went to friend's for coffee and cake this morning.

About to give them all some dinner before dd's friend goes home.

But I have managed to hoover and mop at least!

Feeling a bit down now though, was with the dc down by wc nans and he came back. Was all very friendly etc but a bit sad because I really like him and can't have him! Also although he said we are friends he is busy with his gf and then his mates when he isn't with her so there isn't really room for me iyswim, he can only see me v occasionally. And he is so lovely with my dc I'll get over it I'm sure...what was that they say about the best way to get over one man...

bless you freakoid - leave him too it. good for you for recognising the situation with WC and gf and leaving them to it. That means that you are being good to yourself and putting yourself in a position to meet someone who is free and fantastic. Rather than ending up in a difficult situation. IYSWIM. Sorry not being very eloquent today.

DS has been hot, not eating much, and sleepy today. He had 2 proper naps today when he's mostly dropped it altogether lately. He's definitely got the thrush back, but hates me putting the Daktarin gel in his mouth. So much so that he fought the Calpol too afterwards. It zapped it really well last time, so fingers crossed.

Posting this as it feels like I've done nothing but cuddle.

HMHB I think I get you...I think seeing him today brought home that whatever he might say about liking/fancying me it is worth nothing really because he isn't single whereas before I was a bit caught up in the excitement of him saying he fancied me too iyswim (not sure I do to be fair...)

Evening everyone Had a lovely nap this afternoon but woke up still full from lunch so didn't bother with any dinner.
Painter should be finished tomorrow, the kitchen looks soooo much better. Finally it's finished, only 1.5 years after we had the new kitchen put in!

JKS - do you mean dizzy, or feeling like you are falling?
I used to get a few funny things like that and they were always associated with periods of anxiety/panic attacks. It could be something like you expecting to feel weird after coming off your ADs?

Wasting - poor DS Hope he feels better soon. Is your GP treating you too? You need fluconazole while DS is having the Daktarin so that you are both completely clear. There is a great leaflet online written by the BFN which I printed off and took to my GP. I know that all GP practices in UK were sent new prescribing guidelines for thrush treatment during BFing but lots of GPs have been resistant because the course of treatment is not cheap.

Hi Ali, yes I've got Daktarin cream to apply to me. I printed that leaflet off ad presented the doctor with it and basically told him what I required.
I've not been back, just we had it left over from last time.
Pretty sure it's the sugary juice that DS has, but he won't drink plain water and I'm averse to aspartame sweetened sugar-free juice.

Evening

Bad day here. Thought i had a UTI, so took wee to the Dr's, it is all clear which is good, BUT i have still got the uncomfortable feeling like a UTI which the nice nurse said it could just be from the pressure of quite a large bump on quite a small frame, or possible contractions which i need to keep an eye on. I think they are just being overly cautious though because that is what happened last time. Also, my friend phoned to let me know that her son has got slapped cheek, these are the people we see every week and saw on thurs, so have also got to have a blood test tomorrow to check my immunity. Fun.

So, have done bugger all here, was freezer surprise for dinner, DH is out on a call and the bed needs clean sheets on (i struggle doing them because they are kingsize, so normally his job)

Anyway, just watched Glee with a hot chocolate and my stupid cat and feeling a bit better

Alice - twas only last year when I was going through exactly the same pains and twinges. Can only say rest as much as you can and it will go away when the baby comes

JKS - my ringing in ears turned out to be long-standing sinus infection. DH says he gets a constant winging noise in is ear |(meaning me!).

DD is being a grumpy pain this morning, although she was very good while i had blood taken. Think she needs to nap tbh, as she has pretty much cut them out herself, but sometimes needs one enforced iyswim?

It is a beautiful day here, so may get another load of laundry out on the line after lunch. So far i have hung out the huge fake fur sofa throw i washed yesterday (DD had an accident) DD's bedsheets and the sofa blankets, and just put on the pile of grotty DD clothing that has been building up by the machine the last 3 days....

Hello everyone The decorator has finished, yay! Just need to wipe up the very fine layer of dust which has settled all over the place now.
She has left me a note asking me to pay her in cash, which I'm not really happy about. I have e-mailed her and asked her to raise me an invoice and then I will transfer money via online banking. Am I being awkward or just sensible? The other thing is that I can't take out enough cash on one day to pay what I owe her.
