NorktasticNinja · 23/10/2009 12:11

JustBe - it wasn't sunny, but it is now! It definitely helps. Did you send the sun or is it a coincidence?

Ali - I can't say that isn't a factor. It's just the last straw really though, spent all day yesterday on the verge of tears. Which is why I did't want to post on here.

I didn't want to say so on AIBU, but but it's DP who claims I have a permanent holiday. I couldn't be doing with the inevitable over reaction (you know how they are). It's a not a standard situation, he works ridiculously hard (60+ hours a week).

TBH the looming repeatedly bankruptcy is worse . DP runs his own business and we all know how the economy is doing ATM!

Norks - x-post.
for you
no-one who doesn't do childcare full-time can truly appreciate how much hard work it is. i think anyway.

you are not going to be able to change his mind until he can work fewer hours and look after the kids more on his own.

can he at least take DD out to swimming or something at the weekend?

NorktasticNinja · 23/10/2009 13:47

You lot are sweeties! I can't really talk about it TBH, it just makes me cry like a fool.

This too will pass

LRB978 · 23/10/2009 14:19

Norks, I mised the AIBU, but some very unmumsnetty (((((hugs)))) for you. People often don't see the work that goes in to do that which they have never done. Having worked fulltime with a xp who stayed at home (and did very little, but that is another story), stayed at home full-time (albeit jobhunting) and doing both as a single working mum, they are all bloody hard work and nothing is a holiday (unless your male, witht he initials IJM and were born on 2/5/75, but as I said, another story... bitter me??? Nahhhhhh). In fact, I find the full time SAHM job the hardest! (And I know full well that even though it is on my next jobs list, and I have already started it, there is going to be no point tidying the livingroom once I go get ds, cos all he does (at 7) is move along behind me creating mess in the spot I have just cleared!)

DONE
Me and Ds up and dressed, ds at school
Eaten
Washing up
2 loads of washing, 3rd load in
Called OT to request ds goes on cancellation list for first appt - but need to call back Monday.

Tidy playroom

RainbowDrops · 23/10/2009 14:42

Norks My DH didn't understand fully the work invoved in being a SAHM until he had a spell of being out of work so I continued with my job and he stayed at home, lets just say he was glad when I came home every evening and he certainly didn't do everything that I would do.

Well I phoned for my results and the receptionist said the dr needed to see me and gave me any appointment for today at 4pm. My mum is coming down so I can go to the dr without 4 DC in tow. I just don't seem to be getting over this viral infection and my first blood test came back abnormal. I can't wait for my appointment because wondering about what is happening is driving me crazy.

Run DW done
Run WM
Put away clean clothes mountain done some
Feed the DC 2 meals done
Phone doctors for blood test results done

NorktasticNinja · 23/10/2009 14:56

Oh Norks sorry, I should have said something on the other thread.
So right though, no-one who hasn't done fulltime childcare and running a house can possibily understand how hard and simply endless a job it is. You are right, it will pass. One day he will realise what an arse he has been.

cikecaka · 23/10/2009 15:13

Norks, I have posted something on your other thread!
