Who wants to see a pic of my house right now - DS just tipped the toy box while I was MNing doing something worthy and has discovered coloured pencils look good on fresh green walls

Oh this is hilarious - I didn't realise we were supposed to be TRUTHFUL...(see the first response, from me, saying "Lovely plants!" in a strangled voice). Yes yes I agree tis horrid, sterile, creepy. But the old chest with amaryllis on top is lovely. Let this be a lesson to me to tell the truth when people ask for opinions about their decor!

PS Chandelier is ALMOST funky.

I really am tempted now to put a picture of my kitchen on here (which I tidied styled) last week so you can all go "what a feckin mess, those colours don't go together and oh, did Cath Kidston vomit on your table and walls"?

O dear, I've got the sobbing giggles now, all alone in my front room. There I was, racking my brains to find something nice to say about the poor gal's horrid house, and you lot are writing about piles of poo and vomiting. GUFFAW!

All the light fittings and lamps look rubbish, and the plants should be off the floor. And it's a bit dull.

Now I love a good houseplant but that room verges on fetishistic.

And why are they all so vertical? Bit phallic.

So room has been designed by plant fetishist with penis envy?
