new thread - a little early but I wanted to mark my return.

Much better now thanks. Things got temporarily worse because I went out into garden and found not only a dead bird on the lawn but also that dd had pooed in the garden . Managed to deal with the poo and dh did the bird when he got home. I'm just feeling a bit frustrated because it's making everything 10 times more difficult and I can't even wash my hands properly. There is still cereal all over the floor where I didn't hoover it properly but hey ho, hopefully I'll get the last bits up later.

Alibaba ironing gets saved up til weekend here and it is officially dh's job but I sometimes do it (I refuse to iron his shirts though ). We don't iron everything though, just outer tops and skirts/trousers so the ironing pile is less than a quarter of the washing that's been done.

Clairey - so frustrating!

i don't iron everything that my mother/grandmother would have ironed!
but as i'm more on top of things generally i normally find i'm happier to iron.
i didn't use to iron any kids clothes but now manage their t-shirts and trousers.
no vests though no way!!!

• ds2 nap Doing

• planning for party in July
• poss test run of some strawberry cakes?

This morning went fine quite pleased with myself .

Sorry you had a rubbish night JKS ..am laughing about the slippers though DD3 sometimes wakes up and cries for her slippers too thought it was just my dc that did random things like that .

I think the ironing is going to have to be an evening activity. DH does a shirt for himself each morning but it's not really time-efficient. I can't do it when DS is awake unless DH is here to keep him under control and I use his daytime naps for exercise and MNing housework on the days we're at home. I refuse to do it at the weekends

been so busy this morning, its official Darcie has hayfever, took her to docs this morning. i have to go for more blood tests too.

Ali Spatone is a natural, liquid iron supplement. I have been anemic since i broke my leg (and was borderline before that)Spatone is the only iron supplement that doesn't make me sick and i find that if i generally have a good diet and a Spatone everyday then i feel ok, but have recently run out and thought i could cope without, but i was wrong, so i MUST have one everyday - not very exciting

I didn't do my sort all clean washing so will make a start once I get off here

I have done all dishes and
made white choc& raspberry muffins this morning, if they are nice I will post recipe

I used to take spatone, I think I would need something I have been so tired but then sometimes iron supplements can affect the absorption of my thyroxine tabs!

the car hit it and just drove off - they would have known they hit something too
luckily (IYKWIM) it died before i could even get to it - wasn't sure what to do if it hadn't tbh.

DS1 insisted on having his slippers ON at 4am, and shouted anytime i tried to help, it was like a tantrum. in the end i said i would take them away if he didn't let me help. ridiculous.

I was thinking about iron when you mentioned it the other day Alice, I've some iron tablets knocking about, think I shall start having them as I am feeling very tired lately even though DS is letting me sleep a bit better.
