Jenduck, that is usually my philosophy too and if it wasn't for the comments I had when we went out there I wouldn't be stressing because the house isn't that bad-a few piles of clutter and smears on windows etc but nothing major. Have devised a crafty plan anyway..they arrive at 11ish so we'll go out for lunch then stroll along seafront (please don't rain!) then we'll just have time for a cup of tea and a piece of cake before they have to go again. And maybe my cake will wow them enough that they don't see anything else

HalfMumHalfBiscuit · 10/07/2009 20:27

Hi All.

I did read through but forgot what to put So I hope everyone is well?

Well I've been good and rested as been told by Docs etc. Went to docs yesterday and i've been put on steriods, he also thinks this is my bodys was of telling me to slow down and also to try and de stress as thats not helping my body .

DD was given some money by my aunt & uncle last weekend to purchase her something of her choice, so we've been thinking about it for ages and brought DD a hamster she's named him Ringo lol. hes so cute and shes over the moon with him, he's been spoilt by her and has his own hamster play pen and toys.

So as of Monday I will have a tiny list and need 'cheap' ways of de-stressing, as I'm currently saving for hair extensions as a treat to myself. (having my hair done always makes me feel better)

alicecrail · 11/07/2009 20:40

Muppets I have this great bubble bath that i got when i was pg. It is boots pregnancy range, Honey, Lavender and Camomile and it costs about £5 but lasts ages as you don't need to use much. I find it really helped relax my muscles and chill me out before bed, and i ended up having a craving for the smell. Maybe that could help you de-stress? The body shop used to do a Lavender and Camomile room spray to help you sleep better but i don't know if they still do it. Also what i used to use lots when riding the racehorses was the Lush bathbomb 'Waving not Drowning' Used to help me switch off. I hope any of this helps

JKS i am much better today thanks

Hey ladies

I have been out since 8.30 this morning and i'm a bit hot and tired, and i have quite a red face

JKS i always found yoghurt helped when feeling sicky and especially if brought up again it doesn't hurt like food with lumps (sorry if tmi )

PMPY have a good holiday

Muppets Bliss! Harry potter and a soak in the bath, it doesn't get much more relaxing than that!

Hello to everyone else

No list really, just have an easy evening

In fact, i would like to add a mission for the slatterns this week:
You must spend at least half an hour by yourself in the bathroom this week, condition hair, face mask, paint toenails etc to help you feel good about yourself - enjoy!
